It's amazing how France and Germany seem to have the same view after US has been pushing the nuclear path. Feels like some play book is being acted out.

Iran is illegally building a nuclear weapon for illegal self defense and Israel is doing a Jack Bauer to stop them.
Obviously, Germany - a country with a long and storied history of liberal democratic values and anti-war principles - will come down on the right side of this conflict. There's no way they'd just align with a Middle Eastern Imperialist power looking to dominate and ethically cleanse a region of its native people.
France, Germany, the US, and UK are all issuing official statements in full support of Israel's attack, and the US is moving some naval vessels to the ME to defend its little brother. Only China and Russia are going to oppose them on the UN security council.

I have far less concerns with what Iran will do with nuclear weapons than what the only nation that has used them on civilians will do if they believe they can stop nuclear retaliation, a goal they 've been pursuing for decades.
They after all have a much longer history of violating international law and committing atrocities than Iran,wo themselvesarenot saints at all.
That's without even considering the recent (impressive for an already right wing country) fast and extreme shift to the far right with Trump and co.
I want both sides to lose this war. I don't want Iran to have nuclear weapons, and I don't want Israel to continue to have the military and economic strength it currently holds.
Just as with the US and Russia, both sides can suck. And Ukraine/Palestine get caught in the middle (although in the case of Ukraine, all the fault lies with Russia).

I'm okay with Iran having nuclear weapons because many other terrible countries have them already and seem to have zero interest in disarming. They have the right to pursue defense via deterrence.
