It's amazing how France and Germany seem to have the same view after US has been pushing the nuclear path. Feels like some play book is being acted out.

France being famous for having disposed of all 290 of its own nuclear weapons, of course.

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (2 children)

To be fair Iran would use their nuke on Israel and everyone knows it.

It make sense to go to war against someone who is building a device to instantly destroy you.

[–] FreakinSteve@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It makes sense to build that device as a deterrent against Us-Israeli aggression...not that there was any proof of it anyway. Besides, trump destroyed the deal we had to prevent Iranian nukes so now Iran MUST arm itself. He's an absolute fucking moron.

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Iran was already arming itself.
Else why did they had undeclared nuclear facilities ?
Why are you defending Iran, is it too hard for you to have 2 evil governement attacking each other, one of them must be a good guy ?

[–] FreakinSteve@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

If you saw how Israel was acting and that the US was a fucking warmongering psychopath lead by an absolute fucking clown in 2016 what would YOU do?

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Nothing, I'm just a civilian not living in any of the country you cited.

[–] FreakinSteve@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Still and unprovoked war started by Israel and the US so yes, there is definitely a good guy and a bad guy in this particular scenario.

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It isn't unprovoked, Iran officials clearly expressed multiple time the will to annihilate Israel, and funded terrorist targeting them.
How is that not provocation.

SO YOU AGREE that the US should be nuked because of CIA actions in central and south America in the 50s-80s

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

You really are insane, I never said any country should be nuked.
You are the one saying a country should let themselves be nuked.

It's amazing that you keep arguing unrelated pedantic tangents and cant grasp the analogy

[–] Kuinox@lemmy.world 0 points 11 months ago

"Pedantic tangents" when the other party is proposing nuking countries.

[–] stray@pawb.social 0 points 11 months ago

Would they, though? Knowing that the entire rest of the world would be down their throats in an instant? Knowing Israel would immediately nuke them back?

Didn't click on the link but based on the last 8 years, anything Macron says has a strong probability of being dogshit made to sound plausible and appealing to the end user.
We had chatgpt as president before chatgpt was the hype.
So whatever he wrote on the nazi social network, take it with a huge pinch of salt.
