yal Adom, head of security for an Israeli community on the border with Lebanon, has a clear vision for the land just a few hundred meters away.

“I want to occupy,” he told The Intercept. “Yes, occupy, the word nobody likes. I want to occupy southern Lebanon. Move all the Arabs from there, up to the Litani River.”

We’re sitting in the command and control center in Moshav Netu’a, a village so close to the U.N.-brokered “Blue Line” separating Israel and Lebanon that one can see the physical barrier from the windows of many homes. Here, amid a temporary pause in fighting between the U.S.–Israeli alliance and Iran, there’s no sense of peace.

“The Arabs’ only motivation to stop fighting is if you take their land,” Adom said. “You kill them, it doesn’t matter. You hurt them, it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters. Only taking territories. This is the only thing that matters to them.”

The worker who burned down a warehouse full of Kimberly-Clark paper products in Ontario this week railed against corporations and compared himself to Luigi Mangione in messages to coworkers after starting the fire, authorities said at a press conference Friday.

Videos Abdulkarim uploaded to Facebook show him saying “If you’re not going to pay us enough to [expletive] live or afford to live, at least pay us enough not to do this [expletive],” according to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Central District of California.

Prosecutors allege that he texted others and offered his reasoning for the arson: “I just cost these [expletive] billions,” he wrote.

Hey cool it's almost at 1 million. Also interesting to see the distribution by country. Italy showing up bigtime and Hungary not at all.

The report, seen exclusively by Middle East Eye, is based on testimonies from Palestinian former prisoners gathered by the rights watchdog Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor.

It reveals how the scope of sexual violence of Palestinian prisoners, including rape using objects and trained military dogs, constitutes an "organised state policy", aided and abetted by Israeli institutions and leadership.

One former detainee, a 42-year-old woman from north Gaza who was held in the notorious Sde Teiman detention centre, said she was bound naked to a metal table and repeatedly raped by two masked soldiers over the course of two days.

She recalled that she was left shackled, naked and bleeding throughout the night before the soldiers returned the next day to continue raping her.

The United Kingdom is setting aside a bill to return the Chagos Islands to Mauritius amid a lack of support from United States President Donald Trump, as Mauritius vows to “spare no effort” to reclaim the archipelago.

Last May, the UK and Mauritius jointly announced a deal that would return full sovereignty of Chagos to Mauritius, which is some 2,000 kilometres (1,200 miles) away from the archipelago.

Britain would then pay to lease Diego Garcia – the largest island and a strategic location in the middle of the Indian Ocean between Asia and Africa, which is home to the military base – on a 99-year lease to preserve US operations there.

But Trump opposed the move, calling it an “act of great stupidity” in January.

“Diego Garcia is a key strategic military asset for both the UK and the US. Ensuring its long-term operational security is and will continue to be our priority – it is the entire reason for the deal,” the UK government spokesperson added in his statement.

Hungary has repeatedly used its EU veto to block sanctions on Israel; if opposition leader Péter Magyar wins and aligns with Brussels to unlock billions in funding, Jerusalem could lose its last line of defense in the bloc

How significant would a Magyar victory be for Israel? Officials familiar with the matter say a Hungary led by Magyar would not resemble Spain or Ireland, which have taken some of the most hardline positions against Israel in the European Union. Magyar is a center-right candidate. The concern for Israel lies in his campaign promise to secure $15 billion in EU funding for Hungary.

To do so, he would need to align with Brussels. This would likely mean the end of Hungary’s veto on decisions targeting Israel. As a result, Jerusalem could lose its last line of defense in the EU against sanctions, which require unanimity among all 27 member states. Hungary’s vote has repeatedly blocked such initiatives, and that protection could now disappear.

Cinderella Nonoo-Cohen, a serving member of the European Jewish Parliament, sent a series of comments about fellow doctor Roghieh Dehghan in a WhatsApp group, prompting a referral to the General Medical Council (GMC).

Nonoo-Cohen’s comments came after Dehghan shared a post asking her colleagues to “consider” signing a petition to oppose the UK Department of Health and Social Care’s decision to display the Israeli flag in support of Israel.

The north London doctor responded to Dehghan’s post on the group by saying, “You should not bring politics to this group. I’m disappointed in you as a doctor. Get your facts straight first. Typical of you Muslims to gaslight.”

Dehghan then messaged the admin of the WhatsApp group, labelling Nonoo-Cohen’s comments Islamophobic.

Nonoo-Cohen then responded in the WhatsApp Group by saying: “What?! Remove that Dr Dehghan is an antisemitic person and believes in the barbaric acts of beheading, murdering, and burning of civilians in Israel.

“And spreading lies about the hospital bomb, which Hamas inflicted on themselves” - referring to the al-Ahli hospital explosion in October 2023, where an Israeli strike led to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinian civilians in the hospital facility.

The NGO monitored the arms shipment and told the Belgian government they should inspect it. If it was up to the Belgian government these weapons would be blowing up some tents right now. I'm not sure which group found out but I've seen PalYouthMovement in other cases and they're doing a great job of monitoring.

It's crazy to me how it takes like 3 years of the same stuff happening to gradually change people's opinions instead of people changing their mind after a week of genocide.

The number of garage forecourts without fuel in Ireland could rise to 500 by Friday night if blockades continue, according to the CEO of Fuels for Ireland.

Kevin McPartlan said more than 100 garages are currently without fuel but said the number will rise if the situation is not resolved.

Travel across parts of the Republic of Ireland has been affected for the fourth day in a row as slow-moving convoys made up of vehicles, including tractors, have been blocking roads in protest against high fuel prices caused by the US and Israeli war against Iran.

The Irish government said they are close to finalising a support package after a meeting between officials and representative bodies on Friday.

That's the sell but they'll use it 100% against opponents of Israel. Look at how they sanctioned German journalist Husein Dogru for covering Gaza

I tried finding a less hypernazi source but the headline of the only other English article I found was that this would only ban "right-wing buyers."

His attorneys argued in court Thursday that he fixed those errors, and there was a complete set of correct, matching tax returns for all five years among the various filings he submitted.

Did ya read it

XMR would have been better for them, but it's going to be fun being able to see all the transactions to the wallet.

RAF bases in the UK are used to load up US B2 bombers which bomb Iran. The UK is lockstep with Israel.

Why wouldn't Israel have a free spy plane fly for them?

If people liked ISIS bombing ancient heritage monuments then they're gonna love Israel

Not sure how many people like ISIS but let's hope for Israel it's a lot.

Just quote me the part where he shows sympathy for Iraqis and Afghans like you promised.

Or do you admit you're an American supremacist Nazi like Graham Platner?
