Yeah, I didn't realize that when I first heard it. I guess that's why it's a punishment. If they just hung a tiny parakeet off his neck, it wouldn't be much of a punishment.
That's the expression of a man who just had a random naked encounter with an albatross. It's a mix of befuddlement and wonder.

Underweight my ass. Poor bird is so fat and out of shape that it couldn't even attempt to flee... :(
It's a chick: they just waddle, play with hay, and do flappies while waiting for their parents to occasionally feed them. Albatross chicks are huge.
