I imagine most people consider this cursed because of the 'mayonnaise'.
I consider this cursed because this is ostensibly an AK 74, but it has an AR15 style buffer tube / buttstock.
... and a Pic rail on top of the gas blowback tube / gas block near the front post sight.
If its supposed to be an AK-12, sight should be on that part of the tube, and not the barrel.
... and the grip is wrong.
... and the rear sight is in the wrong spot, if its supposed to be a 74.
... and the magazine is wrong, if its supposed to be a 12.
... and the fire mode selector is also just wrong.
Its a franken-AK, or maybe an extremely 'bubba'd' AK.
From what I googled when I found was first shown this comic, people were agreeing with you in that it was closest to an AK-12. But I didn't look any deeper into the comic simply to try and keep what little is left of my sanity

It just seemed wrong, pulled up wiki pages, that's just what I noticed in 5 or 10 minutes.
It /kind of/ looks like a modernization basically overhaul that was done to the 74, seemingly as a pilot program... roughly around the same time the AK-100 series was being developed... bit its still kinda wrong, in various spots.
Oh don't get me wrong, guns are cool. I just didn't want to put more time into looking up information on a drawing where a gun was being aroused
