
Lol, there are just so many random variations of every opening that it's virtually impossible to know them all. It's sometimes helpful to see what an opening is called so that you can potentially look it up later, but 99% of the time I feel like Michael in the meme.
They're going to tell me to google something. I can feel it.
I swear I learn more about LOTR from comment sections under memes than anywhere else.
Also can't forget gaming companies that have turned many modern games into Skinner-boxes.
It's like reading a news article and seeing horribly constructed sentences and typos. Like, this is your main job! I know there are a lot of English majors out there who would love to find work.
I've noticed that some people do use other filters than "Hot" or they scroll back in smaller communities, because I'll occasionally get comment replies to posts I made months ago. It's cool to see.
