There won't ever be federal charges. For state charges, my understanding is that state officials are being blocked out. I suppose they could out out a warrant for his arrest, which imo would be great, but I'm not in the fold, so there may be logistical reasons why they haven't. IANAL and all that.
I believe they were locked out of the federal investigation but eventually confirmed they are continuing to do their own state investigation (announced Friday).
Generally, state agencies are not allowed to operate outside their respective states. Like they can’t just go to another state and arrest the guy.
If they fled to, say Florida or Texas, and Minnesota wants them they file a warrant and maybe ask the Feebs to execute it; or they ask the state that’s harboring them.
But no one has any particular obligation to do so- especially if, as is the case for trans procedures and affirming care out of state, it’s not a crime in the harboring state.
Well luckily for them the guy lives in the state.
He hasn’t been home since the shooting.
Can’t blame him, really. He’s pretty much the most hated person in the state at the moment. Him and the family left, it seems.
Bet that’s gonna end in divorce…
Or the Epstein files
Fucking just abduct them right back, these people do not care about any polite society, there's no reason to treat them as such either
What would happen if a state's police started arresting ICE? Real question.
And pigs fly. The cops are in on it.
Every other state would copy whatever the fuck they did to make cops start working for voters.
I don't know, but I wanna find out
Don't give me hope
