All you had to do is follow the damn train, CJ

It is definitely the most corrupt in US history. Ulysses S Grant was also known for a corrupt administration, however it was a result of his confidants with no evidence he himself was corrupt. He had a pretty crappy cabinet.

Reminder for Israelis that fascism cannot exist without an out group. The moment it stops being possible to invade those around them they will invade the homes of those they target next. All of this talk about LGBTQ rights from zionist libs is going to dry up faster than Ben Shapiro's wife (who is a doctor).

Too many, I'd side with the government morally on Ye. Not sure whether they should be the final say on who fits that description though since they think Kneecap fits it too.

He recently apologized and said more or less he's back on the meds. I could see them opening back up to him if they felt it was genuine and the government stepping in to say it doesn't matter if he apologized.

Israel sure does talk a lot of shit for a country that won't put its own soldiers in danger. The joke is we not only let them get away with little dog big ego syndrome, it's that we let our children die to further it. Pathetic.

While both sides are full of shit, this does seem more on line with Trump's history of leaning heavily on specialist units and generally not caring about their lives if it's politically convenient. I firmly believe if Iran hadn't spilled the beans on the missing pilot there wouldn't have been a mission to rescue, but also for any soldiers lost on the mission(s) I find it hard to believe it's going to help their families feel better about their crew's deaths to rescue one pilot.

Trump's history of using navy seals for example constantly is very well documented. Many elite units have been put into unnecessary danger for political wins. There's a reason Obama didn't lose 250 seals killing Osama and it's a modicum of respect for the lives of the soldiers and so a demand for better intelligence.

Short term stability for sure, but I don't think Russia has been able to provide any more long term stability to anyone better than the US can. China maybe, but we haven't really seen this version of China show their true colors to a nation they don't consider part of their original borders.

I don't think it's so much about US having soft power over China. I agree they have always been highly resistant to it. The important bit is that Chinas soft power is growing faster than probably any nation's has since post WW2 US while US hemorrhages what little they have left in the coffers.

I don't present this as a good thing uniformly, because China is certainly capable of becoming fascist in a single generation too. I think this sort of power in general is problematic.

Unrealistic, he looks way too intelligent and clean in this depiction. You've gotta include at least one cockroach 🪳

Not just the elderly, every single person. I don't count billionaires because they're arguably not a person as much as an embodiment of greed and cruelty.

For a long time any room I'm familiar with, whether it be at home, work, or a friend/family members house, I always flip up on the light switch or press the on button every time I enter, even if it's already on. Especially in the bathrooms. Is this a neurotic thing similar to OCD or does everyone do this when they're not paying attention?

Went to enterprise and rented a car that had literally 4 leaking tires and they filled them all up to 55 psi before handing the car over. This photo was taken after the 30 minute drive home.

Called and took the car back in for service only to get the same car, same 55 psi on all wheels, and same major leak in the rears. Went to another enterprise location to get a normal car instead 2 days later. Really took me back to my first car, but it's a lot less fun when it's not even yours and the "fix" is just dangerous overpressure.

See box that looks like it's 3/4 ripped in half from stacking damage:

"Looks good to me, send it off."

Ended up ordering it from Phillips for cheaper on sale, turns out it's not too hard to avoid Amazon altogether and a bonus for the company's reputation being important to the ones picking/packaging the product. Hard to blame the Amazon worker though, they don't get paid enough to care.

Glad they're taking off the gloves a little, but it's always been a non-option to just make our lives significantly and irrevocably better like M4A or the PRO act and although they're good at trying and failing, they never talk about the consequences as dire as they actually are with few exceptions.

My favorite book is a little known one called "Black Holes and Timewarps: Einstein's Outrageous Legacy" and I reference it so much that I would really like a copy that's fully mine and searchable, but I also care about the author receiving compensation for the purchase. Where do you get your PDF copies from?
