I’d assume his wife must be horrible for having married him in the first place, but also Vance was saying “Trump is America’s Hitler” several years ago and it didn’t sound intended to be a compliment. Seems like he’s changed a lot. I feel bad for her.

Nah. He’s been shit since before he became the VP pick. She knows who her husband is. She’s educated, has a career. She could have walked away at any time. She supports him.

I’d have to see proof that she’s horribly abused to the point of living in fear for her life Is she left, before I’d have sympathy for her.

shes just as terrible, she worked with justice roberts after her yale graduation, shes in it for the grift.

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 16 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Don't forget she worked for Kavanaugh as well

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 15 points 6 months ago (2 children)

the crying , alcoholic kavanaugh? also had his 500k debt mysteriously paid off.

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 6 points 6 months ago

alcoholic kavanaugh? also had his 500k debt mysteriously paid off

Yeah, did we ever find out who might have paid off that 500K debt? Any idea?

Also release the Epstein files.

also had his 500k debt mysteriously paid off

God damn these fuckers work cheap.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

Surely leopards will never eat my face.

[–] scarabic@lemmy.world 13 points 6 months ago (2 children)

MAGA would make her life a living hell if she walked out on him. I don’t think anyone needs any very big proofs of that

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 16 points 6 months ago (1 children)

They will make her life a living hell either way.

Take consolation in the schadenfreude of the feast of face eating leopards.

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 37 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Look at Stephen Miller's wife. Look at Melania. Terrible horrible humans.

Women married to these types are aligned with them.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 17 points 6 months ago

Yeah, they know the game they are playing, then don't care about their relationships other than making sure they get to keep the power/status

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 21 points 6 months ago

If you learn even a little bit about Peter Theil’s harem, you’ll learn that theres literally NO way she doesn’t know she’s a beard.

[–] Denjin@feddit.uk 20 points 6 months ago

Ah, a man with no morals, ideals or conviction is willing to say whatever it takes to get into a position of power? Excellent husband and father material right there.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 6 points 6 months ago

Seems like he’s changed a lot

It's not like he changed… it's just good old hypocrisy and having no morals… he just believes whatever is convenient to believe in order to gain advantage

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 5 points 6 months ago

Since thiel is vances master, he was ordered by said master to support trumps messaging.

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 65 points 6 months ago (3 children)

It's nuts. Politics and governance in the US have degenerated into bottom barrel reality TV. Even life-long trailer park residents would find these people tacky. To paraphrase Thompson, "The man wearing only boxer shorts and a leather trench coat stopped beating the squealing blow-up doll with a bottle of whiskey for a moment and looked blankly at the TV while stoically ignoring the kids crying in fear in the next trailer over. "Oh, now that really is beyond the pale," he exclaimed."

[–] HuntressHimbo@lemmy.zip 17 points 6 months ago (2 children)

The guys from Trailer Park Boys would be better than these clowns. Weed would get legalized too

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 10 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Preach, brother! (Er, or sister as the case may be - a username like HuntressHimbo makes it legitimately hard to tell). But who cares about gender? Preach!

[–] HuntressHimbo@lemmy.zip 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Hahaha brother is fine. Its from Dead by Daylight, Huntress is the killer that got me into the game, and himbo because I want people to know what to expect when I'm on their team 😂

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 3 points 6 months ago

One has got to respect truth in advertising. Leroy Jenkins did not die in vain.

[–] nymnympseudonym@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

And Alex Lifeson would be Prime Minister

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 9 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Have you considered poet laureate?

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 12 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Christ no, I'll never amount to anything. I'd hate to prove the parents that raised me wrong.

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 9 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

I believe in you, even when you may not.

Edit:

Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.

You may be the best of us.

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 8 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Thank you. That's sweet, and I want you to know I appreciate it.

Edit: And that is a great quote. We will almost certainly never meet, and that's a terrible shame. I'd have loved to buy you a beer.

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I already drank it, and then some. Cheers.

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 7 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I'm not religious, but if I had been I'd say: God bless you. I'd also link to the classic 'you don't need running shoes to run' Father Ted clip, but youtube apparently won't allow it, the worthless corporate-cock-sucking pricks.

[–] nymnympseudonym@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

Bless you again for not being religious. Always refreshing to encounter an adult.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

That's why americans loove these clowns so much. It's what they know from shows they watch and what they aspire to be.

Their prez is literally a reality TV star. Americans are very silly and shallow. 😔

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@thelemmy.club 26 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

(To spare any possible confusion (??) - the last two pics are edited.)

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 16 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Zero sympathy for this pick me.

I love this shit. All that money and power is supposed to make them deliriously happy, and they just keep getting more and more miserable.

If we wait long enough, they'll probably all kill themselves. The problem is, they'll kill the rest of us first. Only when they realized that didn't bring them the joy the expected, will they off themselves.

The picture above, plus JD has made several public comments recently criticising his wife for not being christian.

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 6 months ago

Let us all hope this is Usha Vance' pathway to a better life as a far left revolutionary. Or at least as a more self-aware human being with healthy boundaries.

I just assume the drift to the left follows with personal enlightenment.
