A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Nobody said "blossom" but you, so it's weird you keep saying it in quotation marks as if it's something OP said. Imagine for a moment that women are people, not sex objects, and re-read what she said. Consider how much emotional and mental growth people go through in their 20s and beyond. We don't know what OP was like as a young 20-something nor what she went through in life since then, but there are so many ways people can change and grow into themselves, to become proud of the adult they've become.
Just because she said "woman" instead of "adult" doesn't mean there's any sexual intent, and it's frankly fucked up that simply indicating her gender is enough to put your mind into the gutter.
Yeah my mom died in my early 20s and she got to see the beginning of my transition, but it's been a real struggle over the years the fact that she didn't get to see me get my shit together, get therapy, get married etc. To know that someone you love didn't get to see who you've become is painful. I know the rest of my family feels similarly.
