Per capita I think Jackson Hole Wyoming is the highest, due to multiple homes and cheap state tax. So everyone makes their luxury cabin out their their main residence.

It's all progressives ever needed, a party that actually wants to win elections.
If everyone banded together and refused to ever take a plea deal, it would completely overwhelm our justice system and make it impossible not to enact reform.
The government literally doesn't have the resources to take everyone they imprison to trial, and they need the private prisons filled. If they can't fill the cots, private equity moves somewhere profitable.
Once theyre gone, they stop paying lobbyists, once there's no prison lobbyists, no politician is really going to give a fuck.
But it's literally a prisoner dilemma.
When power is consolidated, corruption is easy.
If we enforced antitrust laws and broke Apple and Google into a dozen companies each, then a lot more would have to cave for the same result.
When we don't enforce anti-trust laws, the biggest will always suck up to whoever is in office to further de-regulate and approve mergers they shouldn't.
But it's an insanely easy fix, and were only 2.5 years away from it if everything shakes out

In this congress 18,500 Bill introduced, 104 became law. Except for annual budget, almost all of them were very small things no one cares about. Something this big hasn't been able to pass for a very very long time now.
Senators not voting for one bill, doesn't mean they'd vote yes for the opposite. That is an incredibly basic way to think
I have no trouble imagining that such a law would get 60 votes.

While true psychiatric medicine treats symptoms and not diseases, there's a shit ton of human variation and some people have little to no side effects from some medications.
That's the whole reason doctors are so quick to change prescriptions. It's just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. But that doesn't mean they won't find something that works.
Yeah, it's just management, but that's better than it being unmanaged.
