A Suzuki SV650 would be my pick. There is a reason it is still around, having made its debut in 1999. Twin cylinder, good handling, reliable, reasonably priced from new, plenty available second hand, easy to fit various types of luggage to, to carry what you need.

They are a great commuter that will also handle track days and longer trips.

Gooseberry. The berries rarely get to be edible in wild seeded plants, but not poisonous

So, bombings, murder of civilians including school children, threatening genocide, global economic chaos. All of these are the hallmarks of a nice guy.

What the fuck is this dementia ridden psychopath going to do next?

I know it’s some sort of gas bottle, but I’m hoping someone can be more specific based on the brass tap on top.

And so it came to pass: Terminator was a documentary series written by a time traveller as both a warning and a wealth creation scheme

Absolutely. I was born overseas and am a white, middle aged, middle class man. The amount of racism that is spewed into my ear because I look “Australian” is horrific.

One of the few regrets I have in life is that it took me years to be brave enough to call it out as it happens.

Edit: deleted my standalone comment because it was supposed to reply to this one

What’s the difference?

Tomahawk steak was half price at the local butcher, so I purchased one for my eldest son’s birthday.

We followed an online recipe (following a recipe is unusual for us - we view them as guidelines, not instructions), and had a fantastic result.

Great crust, great flavour, consistent texture. Best steak I have ever cooked at home. Maybe recipes have something going for them….

So, steak, beer, sauce. Great company, great night

Hi all, I want to buy my son a 3D printer for his 20th birthday. He is a third year computer science major, so has no issues with the software side. I have no idea where to start, or even what questions to ask. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Felix in his happy place

The dangers of running full speed through the bush. Things that hang lower than your belly might get stabbed by a stick you try to jump over. Blood, swelling, antibiotics, anti inflammatory, numbing cream, and the cone of shame. Poor Felix.

Apparently though, his genitalia will recover and will be as good as new in about a week.
