70% of US voters want universal healthcare; 90% of Democrats and 50% of Independents.

Only Republican voters disagree, with something like 30% supporting. (all of these numbers are approximations there are many Gallup polls over the years).

I'm not a mathematician, but it appears to my untrained eye that 2/3 of Americans want Universal Healthcare. That's a very solid majority.

Why can't Ds and Rs manage to provide what the US voters want? Allow Republicans or anyone else to "opt out" of the system.

That's a rhetorical question. bOtH pArTiEs aren't interested in what their voters want.

Somehow, Israel can be financed for DECADES without the same level of voter approval.

50% of voters support Israel= billions of dollars every year

70% of voters support universal healthcare= no universal healthcare.

Kinda weird, ain't it?

I don't understand why she did this, it's not making her look any better.

A hit dog will holler

What's the motivation? Why now, and not a decade ago? Whether she's guilty or not, it looks suspicious

Don't be sad, every joke is improved with a "straight man" reaction, don't you think?

How embarrassing!

Over 70% of all US registered voters want universal healthcare... Ds, Rs, and Independents

Over NINETY PERCENT of Democrats want universal healthcare.

But our reps just can't manage it! It's too difficult.

Meanwhile, bOtH pArTiEs can somehow manage to squeeze enough money out of the budget to support Israel...

Which has universal healthcare.

The US government is not a democracy or even a republic at this point. It can't be any more obvious.

Agreed.

I'm wondering, when will your country stop using the dummy dollar for international trade? When will your country stop buying dummy weapons? Why do the dummies have a UN veto?

When will your country stop enabling the dummies? That doesn't seem all that smart to me.

Since when is the President in charge of government agencies and their funding in any way?

I guess they know what they are doing.

Just kidding

Lemmy unironically is worse about moderation in literally every way compared to reddit.

No! Bad. Bad!!!

Reddit is bottom-of-the-barrel moderation, away with you

p.s. what's wrong with propaganda? I can't even

Drug use IS normal, throughout all history

Cannabis, opium, alcohol and more were found in our earliest graves.

Much of this could be bought over the counter for decades... the US drug war is founded in RACISM, as the Europeans preferred alcohol.

Opium dens are preferable to the alternative, prison. My opinion

Look at all of these problems for decades, all because we decided that GOVERNMENT should have any say in who we do or do not marry.

Government shouldn't have any say or opinion, marriage (or any other relationship) is not their business.

I wonder how many billions of dollars have been spent on this absurdity? How many tens of thousands of hours were thrown away protesting, legalizing, enforcement? All stupid and rather silly if you think about it.

She's an awful libertarian, well most of them are, but very hypocritical on her part.

But you do! The ending is the very best part, it renders everything before it into an absurdity.

It's the punchline

Your claim of their statement being verifiably false is in itself verifiably false.

Their claim was the works do not inspire a belief in God (for them), and they know it was a man-made project. Since they know themselves so much better than you, they are the only ones who can give their opinion.

Yes, people memorized the Koran, Bible, Tanakh, throughout the history of each faith. However, there are many examples (legions!) of those same works (in whole or in part) being protected by a variety of sects... not one of those faiths was consistent throughout their history.

Remember, God hates liars! Don't call others liars just because one of their points isn't all-encompassing. Recall, they said "I think"... this means it's an opinion. Don't lie, Allah would be ashamed of you if He was real.

Jesus says they are wicked, meanwhile, He promises to kill everybody on Earth who won't bow to Him.

That's kinda creepy, don't you think? His promise is to be the greatest murderer of all time (again)

I don't like how this section is called "body", I think it is inappropriate.
