So do situations like this, when they become public, have a negative effect on relations between countries?

Things would get pretty bad during and after a revolution as well.
If the authoritarians win - shit gets 100x worse for everyone "for the sake of security"
If the revolutionaries win there is a good chance those that become the new head of state aren't going to be much better and/or now that it's been proven that revolutions can change governments whose to say that another one doesn't break out because the new government isn't doing stuff "right". This becomes a bloody spiral with no real end.
Saying we need to revolt without really looking at the long term consequences of that action is foolish.
"Hey my wheelchair bound friend wants to visit."
"Um... uh... well..... Do you think they will mind sleeping in their car?"
Interesting that she references following Jesus, being kind to your neighbors and accept people for who they are . .. yet this POS did and does everything her in power to keep LGBTQ+ people, brown people, people with "funny" accents, down and persecuted.
It's great to see cracks in the MAGA world but she is not a good person.
I believe that the reason for the layoff was due to the debt they took out to build data centers which was ~$10 billion so in order to not be too upside down they laid off 30k employees to save on payroll. I could be wrong on this fact, since I don't completely trust the source I got it from. But sounds like something Oracle would do.
Interestingly I thought this was going to be about Fetterman ....
There is a group, unfortunately large, in the political sphere that can't fathom there being people too poor to go to Starbucks. Their world view is that the poors are only making 80k a year (which is poor to them). We have some really old, really wealthy, and really out of touch people in leadership positions in this country.
If it's not from the German region then it's just a sparkling WW
“If you decide to go with your ego and not with your head, you are leaving behind dozens of wealthy people from all over the world who will know that you performed market manipulation and stole from them. They know who you are, you don’t know who they are. It took them less than 5 minutes to find out exactly where you live … how often you see your lovely parents … and exactly who your … brothers and sisters are.”
So the guy threatening the journalist to change his story so the gambler can make money isn't market manipulation, but the journalist not changing his story is....
What scary about this, and it was mentioned in the article, is how future stories by less than ethical "journalist" can be purchased so that one side can become rich. Fuck accuracy it's all about the money.
Well it's not like that is already the case with social media, but I would like to think there is at least some aspect of reporting that is based in ethics and truth.
The contents of which will read -
"If you or your shell company owns 50+ single family homes and/or 20+ apartment buildings then you'll be able to buy 500 more of either, or a combination of both fully subsidized by the American tax payer. If you don't have any home then fuck off!"
Then it will be yet another tight race against Vance - Gavin I believe would win in this match up BUT I also think he will be a mediocre president on the level with Obama. Good, not great. Still try to appease a political ideology that will never vote for him all the while ignoring a true progressive platform. In the 4 maybe 8 years he's in office not much will change - mostly because cleaning up the mess made by this administration will take all that time. The public will be pissed that the massive changes that were promised weren't all completed perfectly in his term(s) so they will vote in a republican.
AND I can see him not wanting to rock the boat and letting all of these criminals off the hook "for the good of the country"
I've become very cynical over the past few years and I hope I'm wrong.
