I've never had issues with mods even when playing split screen and online at the same time.

Not a bad idea on paper. The games are not actually on Netflix. You just download an alternate version of the app (with no DLC or iAP), and login to your Netflix account to access the game. Some solid indie games on there.

That said, I would never in my life pay for Netflix, but my family has it, so ya know, free mobile games when I'm bored.

It's to highlight how common and widespread the contamination is.

You could say "We found 80 chemicals across a dozen facilities", but showing how all 80 chemicals were in a single pellet highlights how widespread the contamination is.

I don't really mind them all that much. The communities are easily blocked if you don't like the particular type of content.

Despite the general cesspool that Reddit has become, it still has some good content within many of the smaller subs that are less affected by bots and politics. If I can get some of that content without giving Reddit an ounce of traffic, it's fine by me.

That said, I'm also the type of Lemmy user who frequently scrolls through every post and runs out of new posts. My app marks every post as "read" when I scroll past it and often I clear the whole "top today" list. I don't read every post though. Anyways, I appreciate any way to get more context on Lemmy.

It's nothing dystopian like you think. Basically just a variation on camera sensors:

[...] bio-inspired cameras that capture the world more like the human eye does. These are called dynamic vision sensors, and they work like motion detectors for each pixel. They only “wake up” and send information when something changes in the scene, rather than constantly streaming data like a regular camera.

These bio-inspired cameras are also highly energy efficient, using less than 1% of the power of normal cameras.

I love doing little edits like this:

Airbus is working on getting a new higher density version of the A220-300 certified. This will happen thanks to an extra set of exits over the wings, and it’ll boost the plane’s maximum capacity from 149 seats to 160 seats.

I'm summary:

  • Cram 2 more rows in
  • Add extra emergency door over wing
  • Add extra flight attendant
  • Tilt seats from 30" to 28"

Took a quick look at the free tier,

  • 3 users
  • 100 devices
  • Basically all tailscale features

That seems pretty reasonable to me. Main account and two accounts to share. With just friends and family, I doubt most people will reach the 100 device limit.

Wipur is the next big deal, but Boodle is likely to replace it. Slove is already dying, but iMPUR and Doofz look promising as replacements.

Found these six robin eggs in the hanging fern on our front porch. Walked outside to pick up a package and saw the bird fly out of the plant. The main picture was taken on the 8th.

Here's a picture of them from today. All six eggs are still there, but they have not hatched yet:

I have an inspection scope camera that I'm attempting to repair. It's one with a camera on the end of a flexible rod to see into tight spaces. The pins that lead to the camera came out of the connector. I tried looking for teardowns or even replacement parts, but found nothing.

Two pins are still inserted, but I'm not confident they are in the right places. I want to get it working without the risk of frying everything. I've done my best to find where each pin goes, but there's not enough info for me figure it out on my own. The camera rod also includes an LED for light.

Here's a photo of the connector as it is:

And here is the socket with it's pins labeled (the labels correspond to the testing pads and not to the socket pins):

Here's a zoomed out pic if it's of any use:

I have a multimeter, so I can do any testing you can suggest. Unfortunately, I was not able to disassemble the camera to trace any wires.
