Airbus is working on getting a new higher density version of the A220-300 certified. This will happen thanks to an extra set of exits over the wings, and it’ll boost the plane’s maximum capacity from 149 seats to 160 seats.

I'm summary:

  • Cram 2 more rows in
  • Add extra emergency door over wing
  • Add extra flight attendant
  • Tilt seats from 30" to 28"

They're still doing seats? I'm excited for when some braniac discovers people will still pay for a flight when they have to stand the whole way.
