I would assume that distro is not meant for home use. Anyone who still chooses it could have chosen differently.

I did not read into the topic, but I think privacy of government machines against that same government is not so important?

Then go one generation further back until the laying bird statisfies your "not chicken" criteria.

If you invite, then yes.

However, customs don't need to be followed. I would just communicate that you don't intend to pay so that there is no false expectations.

Have you lived abroad for some time? Because I felt similar towards my home culture, still sort of do, but learned to appreciate it more after having lived in different cultures for some years.

LineageOS has it too.

Might I suggest https://www.comaps.app/ instead of Organic Maps.

CoMaps is a truly open source fork, whereas it is questionable in Organic Maps case.

It is a cool job if not for the ass shift timings and some ass passengers.

Ich finde ruhige Städte/Wohngebiete sehr wertvoll.

Maybe they don't because there is not much to show.

Recently Google decided that in the future for an app to be installable on an Android device, the developer of this app needs to be ID'd and registered at Google. They claim this is in order to "to better protect users". However, I think, this is a move to get more control over the Android ecosystem, and the data they can collect with it. If anyone who wants to develop an app for Android devices has to be registered with Google, this puts all the power of who to allow distributing an app to Google.

Furthermore F-Droid shows, that safe app stores can exist without registration, neither of users nor of developers. There is zero malware or spyware on the F-Droid store. What there is on F-Droid is thousands of beautiful, useful and, most importantly, safe apps. And this entire ecosystem is at risk, because Google wants to gain more control over its users and over the Android operating system.

See my previous post for more details on the drone I built.

I went for a first flight session. In my opinion it flew great, I didn't notice strong vibrations, the drone and props gave plenty power. Quite enjoyable. I tried 3.5X2X3, T3.5X2.5X3 and T3.5X3.5X3 props, they all worked great. I enjoyed the T3.5X3.5X3 most I think, simply because of the added speed and responsiveness.

I uploaded a video of a flight if you want to check it out.

I found the model of the frame online and really liked the look. I decided to make this my first quad build after only having flown the prebuilt BetaFPV Air 75.

After getting components and trying to mount them inside I encountered some issues. I tried editing the model of the frame, however, as there were only STL files available this was very tedious. Also the maker of the frame put a somewhat restrictive license on it. Now I want to design my own frame with the ability of a more clean layout for the components that I want. When that has happened I also want to make my design files available so that it can be adapted to others needs.

I did not get to fly it yet but am really looking forward to, probably this weekend. Also I learned a lot while building this, which will help me design a nicer frame. Am also happy to hear opinions on my build.

Here is a list of components:

EDIT: Here is a follow up post, with a video of a flight.

And here are some more pictures.

Does anyone know of a mouse that can be used wireless, with a replaceable battery and that can be connected to the PC via USB-C to recharge the battery? Obtainable in Europe.

The reasoning is that I do not want to get into the situation where I do not have a charged replacement battery at hand and am therefore unable to use the mouse.

Currently I am using a mouse without a replaceable battery which got so old that the battery only holds for 1-2 hours without being connected to the cable.

I know I could simply go with a wired mouse, however, I like the cleanliness of minimal cables on my desk. Thanks for suggestions.
