Is there a timeline on when piefed.zip will come back online, a fix has now been released and piefed.social and piefed.blahaj.zone seem to have come back online

Took at the blocked instance list and it seems to be just small instances (except threads, but i'm fine with that because fuck meta) which probably have a good reason to be defederated, also very happy to see it being so short, I guess i'm off to piefed.zip

Well we do, I don't care for news and a lot of what is in the all feed, so I don't use it

Well I'm subscribed to about 60 communities and I have enough to fill up my subscribed feed, the issue is probably not subscribing to enough communities and/or not subscribing to enough large and active ones like this one

The blacked out apps are my carrier/bank apps, which I don't want to publicly reveal.

I'm not sure but I think it takes into account community size so that you get more posts from smaller communities, rather than your feed being mostly posts from larger communities, correct me if I'm wrong though

For me I browse my subscribed feed sorted by scaled the most, I find other sorting settings to not give enough posts from the niche communities i'm subscribed to,

On android, it is possible to set apps to be able to open certain links in app, and many Lemmy and Piefed clients, such as Voyager and Thunder have this. I would suggest adding this functionality, where one could go into settings and allow Blorp to open posts and comments from various Lemmy and pieces instances. (Image attached above of the menu I am referring to in case my explanation was confusing)

I noticed that there was a lack of active autism related spaces on Matrix, so I decided to have a crack at it and make my own and bridge it to an existing Discord server. There is an already existing and large community, with 25 people on matrix and over 800 on our bridged Discord. We have many rooms for discussion of all sorts of topics, good quality moderation, and a welcoming community

What's that got to do with this post?

Good luck having countries in what was Australia with barely anyone because they're in the middle of the outback

Really bad idea to have a big Russian minority in Lithuania, which is what adding Kaliningrad would do, that could cause some instability issues.

Personally like MMP, it is already shown that it can work in the real world (used in NZ and other places) and generally produces fairer results than other systems, as well as giving minor parties more power and influence than in other systems. I would also suggest using preferential instead of first past the post voting for the constituencies to reduce strategic voting.

I'd suggest Cromite as a good option if Firefox based browsers run terrible, I use it since Firefox browsers are not recommended on Grapheneos for security reasons.

So I manage a discord server related to autism of about 800 people and due to Discord's recent issues, we have been looking at opening an alternate space on matrix that is bridged to our discord. I did try self hosting but I am admittedly not technically inclined and couldn't get it working, so I have the space on a public home server. We have gotten things setup and ready, but there is one concern, which is moderation. I did manage to get a draupnir instance, but I have not found it to be an adequate automod. I am concerned about how moderation could work as we have a large number of rooms. I wanted to know if anyone who moderates a large matrix community can provide some insight on what to do for this.
