"We're not going anywhere near that deathtrap," said terrorist Abu Musab Alwani, who masterminded the planned attack. "We are very zealous for our faith and deeply committed to our cause of ridding our holy lands of crusading infidels, but have you seen the news lately? Parts of these planes are falling off in mid-air. These Boeing aircraft are simply not safe for hijacking."

It's a good start. The islamophobia could have been avoided with "we spoke with one of the terrorists who requested anonymity to protect his good name" and leaving off the bit about faith.

But then it'd not be the Bee.

Not actually sure if this is satire or not…

The Babylon bee is religious conservatives attempt to have their own satirical newspaper. The fact is the Onion just does it better.

They have the occasional good one, such as this.

I don't follow either regularly, but every time that by chance I've gone and given the frontpage of either website a once-over, I always get several laughs.

They're comedy websites, it's just not that serious, you know?

There has got to be a better way to have posts like these displayed than having 3 goddamn versions of the same title.

Would much prefer to see the Babylon bee source article over a screenshot

Not giving the Babylon Bee clicks is a good thing.

Shouldn't give that site even as much as a screenshot tbh

Terrorists Decide Against Hijacking Plane After Realizing It's A Boeing

Normally wouldn't have bothered since it's easy enough to google, but the other reply you received was just so sanctimonious that I wanted to provide you the link out of minor spite, lol.

Edit: Awww, that made some very fragile people very angry, huh~?

It already features terrorist-like tech capabilities.

[–] theuniqueone@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 9 months ago

Gotta make sure the plane can reach your target its basic for any competent terrorist.
