This is what happens

[–] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago

Stop oppressing us or we will steal video games from an easy target!

[–] likebudda@reddthat.com 3 points 6 hours ago

Fastidious looters.

[–] BigBenis@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

As, so this is the shining example of protest so many of you have been insisting that Americans must replicate over the last couple years?

Can't tell you how many times I've heard, "you need to protest like the French" on here. How righteous they are indeed.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Oh come on, you are kidding, right?

Amongst all the minions of protesters there are a few assholes that just want to riot and fight and you call that

shining example of protests

Of course its not, atop pretending it is

[–] BigBenis@lemmy.world 1 points 2 minutes ago

Of course its not, stop pretending it is

Yeah, that's literally my point.

[–] Squizzy@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

The protests stem from underfunded schools. The US tried to sell ad space on a public execution. The countries are not comparable.

Its disgraceful to see the French doing this. The US should have done something ages ago.

I don't have a Google account but I guess 5 star reviews would help him

Could people take out their anger on the people causing rather than their peers? What kind of piece of shit do you need to be to not just ruin your peers life but also a whole movement by giving it a bad rep...

[–] AAA@feddit.org 19 points 6 hours ago

The people responsible for this are just there for the violence, destruction and looting. They use the legit protests as a cover. They don't care about the people or the movement

... At least we got a bad ass straight out of an anime photo out of this?

[–] tigermountain@lemmy.world 13 points 13 hours ago

Maybe they should be attacking government buildings.

[–] majster@lemmy.zip 19 points 15 hours ago

Anarchism in lemmy posts is some utopia while praxis looks a lil bit different

Funny how cops are there to smash some high schooler but not to protect poeple from looters. It's almost like they are not here to protect /s

[–] fenrasulfr@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

At least 1 decent person trying to help him after he was attacked. The rest are just terrible.

[–] DeadMartyr@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 hours ago

Tbh the amount of bystanders astounds me, like I cannot imagine being there, seeing that guy flying kick someone with their back turned and not immediately grabbing and pummeling him.

This is coming from someone who doesnt think rioting as protest is wrong--but it's really obvious why the videogame store is being looted/vandalized instead of things that actually matter.

Isn't Zing a huge brand. Owned by GameStop/electronics boutique?

Doesnt really scream small business owner.

[–] Ghoelian@piefed.social 7 points 10 hours ago

Maybe it's a franchise, making this guy technically a small business owner? Not familiar with zing btw

[–] Dead_or_Alive@lemmy.world 4 points 15 hours ago

My dude needs some rooftop Koreans.

[–] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 121 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Fuck that coward who kicked him from behind.

[–] gazter@aussie.zone 98 points 1 day ago

Fly kicking someone from behind, as they walk away from confrontation, is a real piece of shit move.

[–] ieightpi@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

France, your looking pretty bad to people in the US. And that's a low bar to clear.

[–] spacegoat@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I care as much about US opinions as a pig in shit

[–] ieightpi@lemmy.world 0 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Don't act like France is any better than the US. They're just as imperialist as the rest of them.

[–] tyler@programming.dev 3 points 1 day ago

wtf. Why are they attacking him???

[–] ohulancutash@feddit.uk -4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Cant happen when it all goes digital

[–] Minnels@lemmy.zip 2 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

Because owning nothing is better? Fuck your logic.

[–] unhrpetby@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Ownership is still possible with digital games. Check out Good Old Games as an example.

[–] ohulancutash@feddit.uk 1 points 7 hours ago

You think gangs of scrotes will smash in the Steam servers and run away with the games?
