It's not like Jeff Bezos had private dinners with Jeffrey Epstein or invited Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to his private, invitation only, weekend retreat at a private resort he rented out.

Oh wait, he did exactly that and probably a bunch more.

And it's worth pointing out that the photo of Ghislaine Maxwell and Elon Musk is everywhere but this photo of Bezos and Maxwell is much rarer to see.

Well, it's on my hard drive now.

Holidays are coming up if you're looking for a good Christmas card photo to use.

Not safe from hackers, I tattooed it on my nads

Last place anyone would look for it

[–] BestBouclettes@jlai.lu 18 points 5 days ago (1 children)

And Bezos owned Amazon controls quite a substantial portion of the internet

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 21 points 5 days ago

Yeah... what a coincidence that the owner of largest web host somehow keeps an incriminating photo of himself with a convicted sex offender from appearing more often.

Bezos also owns the Washington Post so he clearly wants to control the journalist narrative as well.

but there wasa dinner photo where all the big tech were sitting together. zuckerborg, and his wife, thiel, bezos, musk, and another ceo i forgot the name of with epstein.

[–] 9point6@lemmy.world 113 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Reminder these people know full well the implications of such a photo, and will have done a lot to avoid such photos ever happening

If you see one, there's probably a thousand they avoided

[–] deeprlyeh@lemmus.org 55 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Photos? Epstein made videos. Bondi got caught on tape admitting they had them.

Didn't your mother teach you not to track dirt into the house? Clean your links. lol

[–] JustAnotherKay@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

They probably don’t know that you’re telling them to remove the tracking portion of the link which, if I remember correctly, is all the garbage after the question mark

[–] codapine@lemmy.zip 8 points 4 days ago

UrlCheck is an amazing free app that can help this

[–] deft@lemmy.wtf 95 points 5 days ago (3 children)

One of the reddit dudes had a story about going to a party early on in reddit's boom. Said Epstein was there and someone basically told him not to talk to him because everyone there at the party knew what he was and what he did.

Everybody knew. Everybody knew what Diddy was up to. What Weinstein did. Everyone knew.

Just fuckin shoot these people. Absolute trash humans

[–] Krumm@lemmy.world 28 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Burn all the idols. I do not understand why people worship the famous and the wealthy. They all need to have their careers cut short.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 21 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Especially the people that are only famous because they're wealthy.

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 16 points 4 days ago

Bezos is wealthy because he's a callous asshole. You don't become a billionaire being considerate.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "ELON". I dunno, maybe ELON stands for something else. It was stuck on the back of a Chrysler, ironically enough.

[–] baggachipz@sh.itjust.works 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Elon University? It’s a thing. Unfortunate name for a school who has been around for a good while.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 7 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Oh, that's probably what it was. Oh well, Musk is still a douchebag.

[–] baggachipz@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 days ago

No argument here.

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago

They all knew and they all sought him out because they all were interested in the wares he was peddling.

[–] lena@gregtech.eu 15 points 4 days ago (2 children)

I love how it says he's the founder of AWS. Amazon (the online store) is basically a side business for him, AWS is the real cash cow.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

AWS is the real cash cow

Significantly higher margins and bigger government contracts, particularly with state security services. So no surprise there.

But Amazon, as a retail business venture, generates significant profits on its own. What's more, it is gradually supplanting the USPS, which puts the business at the logistical center of a critical piece of US infrastructure. A classic "Too Big To Fail" setup that also guarantees Amazon a customer base indefinitely and lets them freeze out competitors as the USPS decays.

AWS is a bigger funnel of money, but Amazon retail and wholesale is an enormous economic footprint with lots of downstream political consequences.

Only on Lemmy would he be titled "Founder of Amazon Web Services"

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago (1 children)

We all know he started Amazon but his real wealth and power comes from his near monopoly of internet hosting through AWS.

[–] HeHoXa@lemmy.zip 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

It's definitely appropriate and one of the reasons Lemmy is beautiful

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

I got banned and the photo was removed when I tried to post it on Reddit a few months ago. Wonder why?

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Beginning to think that Jeffery Epstein was at the center of a massive financial and influence peddling network that reached into the highest levels of business and politics.

Well, now that we know this picture exists, I'm sure someone will be doing something about it.

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

When Epstein died I didn't think much of it. What surprised me was lots of non-conspiracy theory friends were diving head first into the conspiracy. As the years have went by and more info leaked, yeah, there was definitely something big going on. We know Elon Musk lied numerous times about knowing Epstein and Maxwell, only to be proven by others testimony he did in fact know them, stayed at Epstein's Manhattan mansion, probably meet with Maxwell for "kung fu" practice, etc.

I even believe that the whole "pedo guy" incident with Musk was actually a coy attempt to keyword search flood "Elon Musk Pedo" with search results for that nonsense. We've seen other famous people do stuff like that to keyword bury topics, I'm sure Musk was aware of the technique. And he won the lawsuit because he was rich enough to fight a freedom of speech claim.

[–] waitingtech@lemmy.world 21 points 4 days ago

Do you mean this one?

[–] oasis@piefed.social 23 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I don't really get what you mean. It's very easy to find.

It's the fifth result if I search for "jeff bezos ghislaine maxwell" on Google images.
There are also a bunch of others images with him and her and/or Epstein.

[–] thermal_shock@lemmy.world 14 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Bring more attention

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

It's a deliberate propaganda. On Instagram, I see posts that glaze the billionaires but hardly any posts that puts them on the bad light.

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Remember: there are no good billionaires. You don't become a billionaire by being nice, fair or anything we associate with being a good person. Even those who inherited billions from their family are often fucked in the head (John du Pont of Foxcatcher fame) as a result of it. Not to mention being born into such a family instantly gives you access to opportunities none of us plebs could ever gain regardless of our merit. Bezos ex-wife is sort of ok since she is adamant about giving away the bulk of her fortune, however, she is still complicit in helping to create the monster that is Amazon, which ironically destroyed the very thing she proclaims to love (literature and book stores.)

Treat them all as if they're evil slime, the bulk are. That way you may be pleasantly surprised when you come across a "good" one like Scott.

[–] tigermountain@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago (1 children)

It's not a very flattering picture of him.

[–] cardboardboxfort@lemmy.world 15 points 4 days ago

He is an ugly person down to the core.

Do you think he tried to crawl into her? Lubed up that little head of his Diddy style and then just pushed his dome against her orifice?
