It's no joke. Finding the video that clicks just right to scratch that itch is just an experience on another level.
I guess no one is coming here looking for wisdom related to porn consumption..... but what is working great for me is making an account in raindrop.io and whenever you find something that clicks, save the bookmark here. Organise into categories you like. I tag pornstars names as well, since sometimes I want to see a particular person's work.
Sometimes I browse and save bookmarks of good new content. Sometimes I just want to get to business and I can find a bookmark for exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for.

Although I don't see how bookmarking a link and selecting a folder to categorise it is seen as more seriously intense than ending up on page 80+ of PH.

Or the easiest way is to search for new vids from Vixen or Wow Girls. Those are always top quality.
Ain't nothing better than finding that specific star work's that clicks with you and then go deep into their discography.
And then be disappointed when the specific vibe gets lost and the acting stops being the same. Or they just retire. And come back after having a child and it's not the same anymore.

I'm no expert but if you've been scrolling that long.... that could be a sign of porn addiction. It means no other videos else could satisfy you.
It's probably a sign that there's no intimacy in porn and most of it is just awful.
Also, speaking as a Film & TV grad, lots of it is filmed in the dumbest angles

Anyway, long story short, it doesn't look real
80% of porn is an active turn off for me. Male POV, fake shrieking, obviously uncomfortable women, gross long nails, painful looking implants, people who sound or look like children....the list goes on and on. Hence the endless scrolling. It's the opposite of addiction.
having taste is not a sign of porn addiction. maybe the over produced step garbage is fine for you, but some of us want to see some actual pleasure and feeling in our porn. i want to watch people having sex, not watch people pantomiming having sex and pretending theyre enjoying it.
There's a search bar on most of these sites, no need to go through dozens of pages

I hate PornHub search so much. I'm sure it used to work at some point in the past but now it's completely useless. The only way to find something interesting for me is to scroll through garbage, click at anything even remotely promising, scroll through similar videos, click at anything even remotely promising, scroll through similar videos... Eventually I will usually find what I'm looking for - it is there but it's fucking unsearchable for whatever reason. And mind you, I'm not into very niche stuff at all.
Good thing I have a girlfriend now and I barely ever touch porn anymore.
I feel like both adult sites and YouTube keep their search terrible on purpose to keep you on their sites longer so they get more ad revenue

go look at the vintage stuff compared to today. Quality HAS gone down, TBF. It's the difference between wanting to be there and doing it for the money, really.
Try foreign porn. If you don't know the language, you might not see how bad the acting is. Though sometimes the acting is so bad it crosses language barriers lol.

Out of the loop here. What was the great purge?
Phub had an illegal content problem. They solved it by removing everything that wasn't uploaded by a verified user with real life credentials.
A lot of perfectly cromulent smut went down the drain with revenge porn and worse stuff.
Once upon a time there were lots and lots of amateur videos on the great sites. Some really unforgivable pieces of sex art. And then due to legal issues they were completely gone. So that piece of sex history you have being looking for ages is probably lost to you.
I understand the fact it was because many of those videos were somewhat questionable to say the least, but there were some really good ones, and then no more.
They removed all videos from non-verified accounts a few years ago. They reason I heard they did this was so they didn't have to do as much work moderating uploads. One thing they had a big issue with was content posted without the consent of everyone involved (such as revenge porn).
I'm pretty sure they don't invest in search because it's a poor return on investment. Most people just hit the first page, crank one out, and leave. The next cohort is similarly easily satisfied with their crap search. The people looking for specifics like "big tit short red hair reverse cowgirl pov outdoors at dusk" aren't profitable enough to spend engineering time on.
That's my hypothesis, anyway.
If people would tag their uploads correctly...
I think they have incentives to tag broadly but not accurately so they pick up more visitors. Tag it as "anal" when there's like a glimpse of butt, and you might get more views from people looking for that. There's no mechanism to punish inaccurate titles and tagging that I know of.
Yeah, I hate that. It's the same way on ImageFap, which is even more annoying because they don't even make money off of it.
Bing is better for NSFW searches, in my experience, but if you want to be really specific, Yandex with a good VPN might be what you need.
Amen. I don't even need to click on a video, at this point. Home page is all I need if ya nahmsayin'.
