Cancer can eat some fascists, as a treat

I was surprised cancer can get cancer.

Trump administration cut NIH cancer research funding announcements from 756 a year to 14 by end of 2025. Sweeping NIH grant terminations halted 383 clinical trials, which included at least 118 cancer-related clinical trials.

So rot to death Republicans.

Whoa, Suzie Wiles too? That's why she's been rethinking her life choices. Heaven or hell awaits in her mind. Guess what Suzie, you fucking knew.

White House chief of staff Susie Wiles diagnosed with ‘early stage breast cancer’

Heaven or hell awaits in her mind

That's not a choice she has anymore. She doesn't have enough life left in her to atone for all she's done.

What a wretched excuse for a human.

I hate cancer more than fascists (probably because it killed more of my family than fascists [so far, could change in the future]). However, my cynical brain wants to suggest to them to let RFK treat them.

I'm a three-time cancer survivor and I still hate the fascists more, because they killed a good half of my family, and a lot of those who survived told us kid what they endured.

I'm a gentle human being, but I could kill fascists with my bare hands. I have an intense, burning hatred of fascism.

Gosh, can you imagine dying of cancer after spending the last few good years of your life protecting a literal paedophile monster and taking the fall for him.

A monster that gives no fucks about you.

Nobody is going to give a fuck about her. Not even his base. Especially not his base.

What a sad, miserable life.

Don't. Like seeks like. Those two deserve each other.

Man would suck to be in jail and have cancer.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

you'll get better care than outside jail, and free.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I was going to vociferously disagree but I realized I was thinking about innocent brown children in ICE detention, not the kind of clubhouse that pasty lizard woman would be in.

[–] santa@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago

I recant my statement.

Man it would suck to have cancer and be thrown in an ICE facility or CIA-style hole being detained without food or water.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

I don't really believe it but more importantly I do not care... she can spend her last few days on Earth testifying and/or in jail

This is, most likely IMO, some bs made up so she can weasel out of accountability

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

Absolutely zero reason to believe serial liars

[–] tacoplease@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

We need individual verification of said cancer ... Can't trust MAGA at all. This may be "stolen affliction" like Corporal Bonespurs over there.

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 2 points 1 week ago

Good point.

[–] ButtermilkBiscuit@feddit.nl 6 points 1 week ago

Cancer seems too good for someone who's entire career was based on protecting pedophiles. Maybe nature can achieve some level or justice for her victims.

[–] shirasho@feddit.online 6 points 1 week ago

When you are living, breathing cancer you should not be surprised when you have literal cancer start growing.

[–] Doug@piefed.social 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Doesn’t alcohol consumption have a direct link to heart disease and cancer? If so, it’s the only modicum of hope I have whenever I see them drinking as much as they do.

Then again there was George Burns, who proved you can still win the gamble ‘till you’re 100+

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

George Burns had joy in his life though. That’s one difference, anyway.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago

Also brought some joy to others unlike them.

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I'm troubled by the joy I'm feeling. Never thought I'd be on cancer's side.

I used to speak fluent German as a child and would you believe it, forgot the entire language after. I keep thinking one day I'll remember just like one day I forgot.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 1 week ago

We should ask her about the Dow.

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

If there's justice, she'll also prolapse.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 2 points 1 week ago

Quick, find out what hospital she's going to so we can all go there to point and laugh.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world -5 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Thyroid cancer probably explains how she's been acting...

It can cause wild mood swings, aggression, and loss of critical thinking.

The thyroid is very important, and when it starts fucking up it can really change someone, and very rarely for the better. I wonder how long hers has been fucked

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 22 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Naah, she's a piece of shit. Plus she's fighting cancer, she's not dead:

But what about the dow?

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Some people are just evil dude, without a tumor forcing them to be. She's had decades of well documented evil of her own free will.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Wrong, Nazis deserve no sympathy, no matter what the sympathetic tankie cause

[–] AngryRedHerring@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

She's been evil for decades. If anything, the thyroid cancer only made her worse.

If anything, the thyroid cancer only made her

Incapable of hiding it...

Didn't think it needed to be said, thought implying was enough.

The evil people who do the most damage hid their evil.

It can cause wild mood swings, aggression, and loss of critical thinking

That doesn't make someone evil, it makes someone incapable of holding a mask of civility up and the evil shows thru
