This is publised by RT as someone else has already said, one of the worst disinformation outlets.
I have no idea about them. The article is not critical, it's transparently derisive. It's a bad article no matter who publishes it, and whoever did doesn't deserve a good reputation.
So I guess my hot take tracks with reality.
Jesus Christ, what the hell did I just read? I didn't clue in to RT until I saw the comments, but that leaves me even more confused—it didn't even try to pretend to be a news article. It's blatant propaganda. I thought RT was supposed to be, well, competent at producing propaganda.

Jesus, I was running through a list of Canadian politicians trying to figure it out. I'm stupid. The Crown is actually so irrelevant to me I constantly forget they the King is our head of state NGL. The monarchy needs to be abolished. Any good things that they can claim are only to cover atrocities and they are a net negative on human history.
