Why ethics? Its a program not a person, its not even like, a dog or donkey or anything, its a thing, barely, as its code.

Which is more ethically good?

Stomping a goomba in Super Mario Brothers, that is, killing a virtual "person".

Eating literally anything, ie, killing a real living creature, plant or animal.

Glad to report my college has ethics as a required class in the CS curriculum indeed ! Though I think the class is sub-par, but it's brand new for this year, so it should improve progressively...
