Knowing Trump, he's not terribly unlikely to fly weapons bound for Iran over France in defiance of France's stance on the matter. I hope not, but this is Trump we're talking about.

i hope he does; the europeans are clearly trying to wait out trump in the hopes that the americans will elect a more friendly presidential administration and a more serious rift would make reversing american gov't relationship with the europeans gov'ts more difficult.

I believe the world will remember the actions of the USA too. Especially Middle Eastern nations.

Yes, the USA will remember DJT, but not like he thinks they will.

Getting Germany and Poland on board would significantly complicate the aerial logistics for the Iran War. Which, to be clear, would be a good thing. But I also know that Germany is… unlikely to make that move, given their kneejerk support of anything Israel does or is involved in.
