She's probably a big part of the Epstein cover up. She was there in Florida in 2011 as attorney general of the state, after Epstein's first conviction, and while his activities were still ongoing but did nothing about it.
The entire reason she has this job is because she protected epstein's clients in Florida.

It basically doesn't matter if she resigns or not. Whoever takes her place will be decided by Trump who will just want someone who will cover up the worst of the Epstein files, run cover to ICE misconduct, and never prosecute those who bribe Trump. Whether it's Bondi or not barely matters.
Nominees for the job require Senate approval, so technically they could try to make Trump put up someone good. Bondi was nominated when it turned out the Senate wasn't likely to approve Trump's first pick, Matt Gaetz.

This is our manufactured society now, as we read this bullshit, the right is reading their own versions that show Pam Bondi heroically fighting back against mean, mean Democrats, carefully edited and clipped to make her look like a Valhalla-worthy warrior.
We let too many people into positions of representation without giving a shit who they were or what they represented, and did nothing to interrupt them as they took donations from companies that want to manufacture our entire world so that they can decide what kind of shoppers they want us to be, and who we're going to be mad at (each other, they want us to hate each other so we don't hate the oligarchs and donor-class.)
If anyone wants to know why so much money is being poured into AI, it's because that's the tech that will let them micro-manufacture manipulation campaigns for every individual, on an individual level.

I watched some of the parts and I thought she did amazingly well, in MAGA terms. There is no way she could do it better with all the facts against her.
She doged questions, she did incoherent rants, interrupted people constantly, attacked the interviewers. It was despicable, everything MAGA like. I don't see why they aren't thrilled about her. She was trump on steroids.

I think the thing people need to come to terms with is that while we insist on playing everything by the book, because it's the right thing to do, they are playing by a completely different book that literally uses our own book against us. We continue playing right into their hands, and we're eventually going to have to change our playbook very drastically, and it's not going to be comfortable. We can't win this by continuing to play by the same book that got us here.
It seems like everyone's pinning their hopes on the midterms despite the clear evidence already available that not only are they in the process of being manipulated and rigged, and they've still got over half a year to be even more egregious about it, but even if they aren't or if they don't succeed, there's a good chance that the other side will make up their own numbers anyway and create a smoke screen of misinformation or simply refuse to follow the rules like they've already been doing this whole time. Even if Dems take back the house and the senate, where's their actual power to do anything about any of this? What actual enforcement mechanism can they actually implement that isn't procedural and "by the book", the exact same book that Trump's administration is ignoring?
"The book" and even "the constitution" is just words on paper, and we've entered an era where the sword is once again mightier than the pen. Where's our swords? If Trump starts doing everything by executive order again, continues stacking the deck in all the militarized federal law enforcement institutions to surround himself in his own personal gestapo and use them to enforce his executive orders, who's going to actually try anything to stop him? Who's going to be brave enough to take actual action against his militarized forces to stop him? And it's not enough to just have one guy or a handful willing to stand up to him. Yeah, maybe that will embolden some more to stand up to him, but you don't just need to have some guys stand up to him, you need to stand up and win against an army of violent thugs, you need your own army, and it needs to be a well-trained army that can actually beat these fuckers in direct combat. A bunch of angry guys shouting mean things in congress and the senate and courtrooms and hearings aren't going to stop him, no matter what book they think still matters. The violent thugs on the ground will not stop because of any book unless Trump's the one writing it. I think this is going to get real, real bad. I desperately hope to be wrong, but I'm not willing to concede that I am.

Because Trump sold them the Epsteins files during his campaign. He promised to release the files and the list in full transparency. Most of the MAGA base is now invested in the Epstein files and want to see billionaire pedophiles punished. Pam Bondi acted like MAGA usually wants her to act, except this time she was acting against MAGA. She interrupted and attacked the people who asked the questions MAGA wanted answers for and instead of giving any answers she dodged the questions and wasted time on incoherent rants instead of giving the information MAGA wants. She did everything "right" but she did it against the wrong crowd.

Jamie Raskin berated Bondi's earlier Senate performance before the questioning began, saying that she brought... What did he call it? A "burn book" or something?
Basically, instead of preparing for the actual questions she'd be asked, she prepared a book of insults and ad hominem for the people asking the questions.
And I couldn't help but notice that in her testimony yesterday, every time she flipped through the huge binder next to her, rather than answering the question, she'd just start attacking the person who asked the question.
So, she did the same thing again. A one trick pony who couldn't imagine that they'd prepare countermeasures for her embarrassing previous performance.
And she was caught lying under oath immediately after she did so.
Only a complete idiot would allow themselves to be put in such a situation.
She should have resigned long ago. She should have done a lot of things, but what can you expect of a complete idiot? If she's remembered at all in the future, it will be for her unparalleled stupidity.
Not only did she have a stupid "burn book" but she also brought out printed pages showing the search history of Congress members who were allowed to view the secret files, and this was photographed. They monitored, logged, and tagged the searches and documents members of Congress accessed, and she was dumb enough to hold evidence of it in front of press photographers. Now there's going to be a congressional inquiry into that too.
Every single one of these headlines would be better phrased as, "x does y and yet there will be no consequences and nothing will change", because that's the fucking reality.

I just saw some clips of that hearing and I was surprised how low they were willing to go. That's not normal anymore, the whole thing was absurd. The system is broken, the rule of law has ended in the US.
