Do you have any recommendations? Cause I go through one of these probably every two or three years.

Yep. That part tears all the time. When that happens you can still use the belt by tying it, if you have enough length, but really you need to re-affix the buckle or buy a new belt.

Yeah but at least you’re…well, other spoilers that I won’t put on here because that game is fucking incredible and best experienced without knowing anything about it.

Forza Horizon 6. I’m…absurdly wealthy and have multiple homes and like 260 cars, several of which are worth millions of dollars. Oh and I’m a KICKASS driver who can somehow rewind time when he fucks up.

AND I’M IN JAPAN.

Life is good.

Edit: BUT…my beard is gone, because apparently facial hair doesn’t exist in the world of Forza Horizon. 😢

There can't be that many voters who want to go blue but are hung up needing to bathroom bills too are there?

Probably not, but maybe. People are disenfranchised with the GOP, but brainwashed to the hilt with rage about trans issues. I suspect this guy wants to be palatable to that group of voters.

She does look a little bit like Ivanka.

Saying you don’t like liberals doesn’t mean you won’t vote for them when the alternative is fascism though.

If only there were a sort of "search algorithm" capable of searching a catalogue of interner sites...

Hey man, you’re the one who made the claim, I was just asking for some support for that claim. /shrug

He’s fascist-lite. Claims to be anticapitalist but he claims liberals are idiots

He’d fit right in over on Lemmy.ml! 😉 Honestly though, if he’s anti-capitalist that doesn’t seem like a contradiction, since liberalism is a capitalist ideology.

and he takes money from Saudi Arabia

Oof. That one sucks. That said, there is an argument that I’ve seen about the role of comedy in helping to modernize a culture. Whether that’s possible when following strict censorship however, I’m not sure. The whole Riyad comedy thing certainly does feel gross.

Regardless, “fascist” has a specific definition and I don’t think I’d agree that Bill Barr falls into that category, even “lite.” But I only have a passing familiarity with his work, so I could very well be wrong.

The surgeon was you all along! And also you’re his mother!

I assume that’s what the webcam is for, to ensure proper remote detonation. I just hope it has good night vision.

[–] TheRealKuni@piefed.social 3 points 3 days ago

I think the cheap webcam is for the operator to decide whether to detonate the claymore. The lidar sensor is in front of the webcam.

Seriously all the chuds bitching about the “girlboss” character they added for the new prequel missions in Halo: Campaign Evolved just highlighted that there were new prequel missions.

(Although actually most of the dipshits I’ve seen complaining about her didn’t actually play so they don’t know that she’s not part of the standard campaign, so they’re saying things like, “The game was already good, they didn’t need to add a new woke character.”)

Seems like Bambu Lab has a new trick for reducing waste. Rather than a toolchanger like the Prusa XL or the Snapmaker, they're swapping just the nozzle. As far as I can tell from the video, the printer still has a second nozzle which won't swap in and out, meaning a print can be run with 7 nozzles (six from the Vortek system, plus the second nozzle in the toolhead). So if you're using 7 or fewer filaments, no pooping is necessary.

The cool bit here is that they're using wireless chips in the nozzles to communicate the thermistor data to the printer, so no pin-based connections are needed.

Pretty cool solution, I think. I assume you'd still need a prime tower, but that's a small amount of waste if they're eliminating poop from purging the nozzles.

I'm curious to see how they'll handle calibration, surely the nozzles aren't all going to be perfectly aligned all the time.
