President Donald Trump on Monday said any country doing business with Iran will face a 25% tariff “on any and all business being done with the United States of America.”

That new tariff on imports from Iran’s trading partners is “effective immediately,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

“This Order is final and conclusive. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he wrote.

Most countries know by now he is a clown and tariff threads are meaningless.

But even if his threads work, what he is trying to do? Punish the protesters?

Yes the goal is to create maximum economic hardship and suffering so Iranians riot against their government and the country ends in a civil war https://www.youtube.com/shorts/52JKfb0Nl4E.

That is why Trump left the Iran nuclear deal in 2015, to punish the Iranian people and make their lives miserable. Then Trump and Israel tried to propagandize young Iranians facing economic hardships into rioting against their government for the suffering, and this time they confirmed having Mossad agents on the ground contributing in the riots.

Basically they cause the misery with sanctions and then point the blame finger to the government they want to destabilize. This was done to both Cuba and Venezuela as well.

good linked video. Yes, Zionist-US foreign policy is to destroy rather than democratize.

Funny thing is none of this guarantees an actual regime change that benefits US imperial interests.

To be cancelled when China retaliates, with same measures it imposed for "port fees"

US/Trump likes to dress up a lot of evil as "for the people of the affected countries". But wrecking economy makes it harder on the people. US and its companies could have secured Venezuela oil for $100B investment a long time ago.

china is non-interventionist; they won't get involved like they didn't with gaza and venezuela.

Iran is China's 38th most valuable trade partner. The US is number 1. Who are sanctions on China by the US going to hurt most?

The US soy farmers.
