what's the infrastructure tho? isnt it decentralized? i understand development costs if you want to have a paid team but maybe slow down development? i dont know, asking for a million bucks sounds like a bit too much

another thing to point out is that while it is faster you can't block as much as shit as you do with ff + ub which makes everything load faster or not even load at all.

ive used it for years without opening my ports because some issue with my isp, it's rare for users to not share and generally there's someone who has the same files willing to share, but of course sharing is caring, matey

I think a more fitting name would be Prolific European Defense Organisation (PEDO) since it is more fitting to Western values in general. Thank you.

Hello, I just noted you cited Wikipedia's dicussions, please try to use a source that's outside the control of three letter agencies from a decadent bourgeois dictatorship and the West in general, since media there is bought by the capitalist class and produces pieces that only benefit their narrative. Thank you!

This community is committed to centering the perspectives and voices of the Global South. As such, all posts and comments must demonstrate respect for this fundamental principle.

This is not a platform for imperialist or colonialist mindsets. Users seeking a forum for such views will find ample accommodation across Silicon Valley platforms and numerous other Fediverse instances. That is not the purpose of this space.

Here, we consciously prioritize the voices of the global majority—those routinely oppressed and silenced elsewhere. Our moderation and enforcement policies exist explicitly to uphold this mission. If you are accustomed to norms prevalent on mainstream Western platforms, please understand that you are now participating in a community where those norms do not apply.

Before posting or commenting, especially if you reside in a first world Western nation, we urge you to:

  1. Inform yourself on the issues at hand.
  2. Consider how your words might be received by those from the regions you discuss.
  3. If unsure, choose to listen rather than speak.

I write using all my fingers, but I've never managed to attain full mastery, for example I never use the correct fingers to type numbers in the top row, or I struggle with special characters. Sure, the letters row I am comfortable (although I could be a bit better, I'm at 76wmp 96% accuracy) but the rest I'd love to be able to master them.

I searched a bit and found about Keybr, which seems really cool and it's open source. Of course MonkeyType, although that looks a better tool once you've already feel more comfortable and not to actually learn, and it's also open source. And then TypingClub, which has a nice tree that teaches you everything in order. What do you think it's the best approach? Maybe first do the TypingClub lessons, then practice every once in a while with either Keybr or MonkeyType?

It pops up all the time, it's a waste of time and I'm sure it has been used countless of times to discard some piece of information. It doesn't add up anything productive to the comments, people who comment don't even say anything they actually think they just "did you know that MBFC says this so it has to be truth?" I could go on but I think you get the idea.

I’d like to rely less on my phone so that I don’t do the ritual where as soon as I wake up I’m doomscrooling on my phone, do you know of any cool, minimalist but with some features alarm clock out there?

I feel like people didn't understand me last time so I'll try to be more specific. I don't have an old phone, actually my phone is currently broke so I don't have one at all. I don't want an F-droid app, and I don't want to buy a physical alarm, I'd like and app that some more functionalities, like maybe setting more than one alarm or naming them and some theming, etc.

As an inspiration this is a web site I like I’d love if it’d introduce an alarm clock because of its aesthetics and philosophy:

use.haus

Here are more clear cut cases of web pages that exists but are closed source:

https://kukuklok.com/ https://onlinealarmkur.com/en/ https://www.myclockly.com/alarm

I don't want a physical one because I don't want to spend any money and because I want it to have just a few more features that would be covered my simply being an app instead of a smart watch or whatever, plus it forces me to go from my bed to my desk, helping me get out, instead of hitting it on the night desk.

Basically one day all of a sudden I lost all mobile network, can't receive SMS, calls, etc, can't use mobile data, nothing.

I own a Xiaomi Redmi 12 OS version 1.0.7.0.UMXMIXM Android version 14 UP1A.231005.007

I've tried going into the setting mobile network and disabling automatic connection and trying to connect manually but it doesn't let me connect
