Seeing my mother today for the first time in over 5 years, so of course spent the night going over every possibly argument and guilt trip she'll pull up. However, am taking Boyo, who she hasn't met, so she'll certainly be on her best behaviour.

Chew toy. Like dried pigs ears. Used to get goat horns for my old dog - lasted a long time and completely absorbed his attention - for days.

Deterring possums requires the old fashioned naptha ones. Which I reckon are horrible in the house but work quite well outside as pest control. They do melt in a lot of rain, but in dry weather last quite a while.

Seems like everyone has hurt themselves in some way today, so I'll add to the pile.
Sharpened my chef's knife yesterday and promptly cut myself as you do. This morning though it's a really clean cut so the sharpening worked. Problem was I'd had a few glasses of wine before so it didn't look very pretty.
I'm ok so far. ๐ค
also, those really clean cuts seem to close up nearly instantly
Food poisoning, so of course everyone is inviting me everywhere today for things i really want to do (ice skating with seldom seen nieces, friends belated b'day because he's been caring for his mother after chemo, most likely last ever anniversary bash for local pub as their building is slated for demo)
