It was pretty clear the deal the feds agreed to was not acceptable to SOME provinces who were the ones who rejected it. The feds begged the provinces but they shut Carney's crappy bad deal down. Just yesterday the feds were telling us it was the best deal, THEY WERE CHAMPIONING IT! Thank you to those Premiers for standing up to our weak and pathetic PM who is leading our country to ruin, but that's fine for him as most of his wealth (over 90%) is invested in the USA. Carney's family doesn't even live in Canada.

Just yesterday the feds were telling us it was the best deal, THEY WERE CHAMPIONING IT!

From your source

“They have worked hard, in good faith, to defend the interests of Canadians throughout these negotiations up until the very last minute,” Carney continued. “However, last-minute changes in the U.S. proposed terms were unfair, uneconomic, and called into question the reliability of any deal.”

From another source: https://globalnews.ca/news/12031459/united-states-canada-trade-talks-issues/

Carney also said the United States wanted to include terms in the deal that would put limits on the trade deals Canada was able to seek with other countries.

Since tariffs were first levied on Canadian goods, Ottawa has sought new trade deals with countries around the world, positioning itself as a key “middle power.”

Deals with Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates and talks with India are among the agreements Canada has recently reached, with 20 deals touted by the prime minister’s office.

“The U.S. introduced, in the last hours, efforts to restrict our ability to have other trade deals,” Carney said Saturday.

“We believe in free trade; we’re the partner of choice in many respects for countries around the world, and the Americans wanted to restrict that. They had language that they wanted to restrict. Unacceptable.”

I'm annoyed with Carney over a lot of things, but this deal was idiotic and that is why almost every single Canadian elected official agreed with rejecting it

Carney and his family live in Ottawa, except for one daughter attending a US university.

In 2025, the Leader of the Progressive Conservative party was Andrew Scheer, a US citizen. Jamil Jirvani, PC MP, is best friends with JD Vance and helped Vance run a fake charity in Ohio. Jirvani stated at the time in 2018 the irregularities were due to his stage 4 cancer. That was 8 years ago.

You are projecting harder than an IMAX theatre.

I still find it so absurd that we even allow citizens of foreign countries to be leaders & members of political parties in Canada.
