You have to be either an authoritarian or just a massive sub to like trains. Only horses offer true freedom; a form of transit that lives and has its own will, the ability to say no. One that requires nurturing. One that exists outside of your need to be moved, and can be a companion, even comrade, instead of a mere means of locomotion.
