Yeah candor/feedback are hard in relationships and getting "consent" before doing that can help a lot. It takes a lot of trust to get to that level.

Keep working on it, it takes so much effort on my part to be like "man that really sucks" or "wow that sounds really frustrating" for the most part my SO knows the solution and just wants to be heard.

I've overheard her talking to her mom on the phone how supportive I am and how good of a listener I am. This is the first relationship I've managed to do these things and we're getting married in 4 weeks :)

I wish my kitchen was just a little bit bigger lol. My fiance gets mad when I'm all up in her space, kitchen is off limits when she's cooking.

Hey guys this probably isn't the right place, but I'm new to mental health issues. About two weeks ago I started having crippling anxiety attacks, mostly at or right after work. I do intl logistics for my company so I've had a pulse on all this bullshit from the getgo.

At the same time I started having blood pressure issues, and the combination has a vicious feedback loop of anxiety > elevated heart issues > anxiety etc.

My doctor gave me 30 Xanax (and a plethora of heart meds), I've looked up self help type stuff to help with the anxiety... Mindfulness, breathing exercises, etc. Daily walks and exercise help the most but I feel so out of control of my emotions I don't really know what to do anymore.

Should I talk to my GP and get on something long term? Therapist? Keep trying self help?

I'm 38 and otherwise healthy, no depression, slightly overweight but physically active and eating healthy. I stopped all my vices (nicotine, alcohol, most weed I still take edibles CBD) and I don't know how to cope without being self destructive.

If anyone else is going through this and getting traction just let me know your experience I guess. I don't know anyone irl as affected as me so I mainly just want validation I'm not alone and there's a path forward.

Yeah if you're out of shape just go for some walks. I have a dog so I have to take 3 walks a day. I could just take her to a patch of grass but she needs exercise too so I at least take her around the neighborhood.

All that to say, those little walks are sometimes the only part of the day where I can think and process my thoughts. I highly recommend going without headphones for that reason.

If anyone has any tips on how to cope with this lmk. I'm medicated but still an ineffective human 70% of the time. Life is hard I'm tired.

Cis dude here, the only way is to have an understanding friend help. There are ways to do it yourself but it's such a pain and takes forever.

In the long term, laser hair removal. It takes multiple sessions but it's cheaper than it used to be.

My elderly dad fell for something similar trying to call HP support, he googled the number and the top result was some bullshit. They had him set up remote access and compromised all his data. Old man had to reset everything.

He called me saying what happened, I had him shut down and unplug. I recovered what I could but he lost a lot of data.

This shit should be illegal. Like, I'm sure it is technically but there shouldnt be unofficial sponsored results above legitimate sources.

Even in mass effect? Evil shepherd has some of the best dialogue. I never got as much satisfaction from a game when I let all the council dweebs die for being idiots.

RDR2 as well, some of the rude comments Arthur says are hilarious. And you're a rough and tough cowboy so it kinda fits.

You can try switching to nic pouches like zyn/velo. They're just powder nicotine from a lab I don't think they're tobacco based at all. For me vaping was also a physical addiction, whenever I'm driving or on the toilet or gaming I kept feeling the need to vape. So I dealt with the routine/physical aspect first and then the nicotine.

I was doing really well for about a month but I bought a vape for a night out and it lasted 2 weeks so I gotta taper off again with the pouches.

I do this with my dog, our couch is against a window that overlooks my building's courtyard so she's always watching people come and go. If I'm waiting for food or something I'll watch with her, she seems to really enjoy it.
