Walking through long grass in Pokémon:

Yeah, it was complete BS. I'm glad it's not a thing anymore

Thank you! And I'm a software engineer too, so I feel that pain 😂

It was "The connection to the server timed out". But I just tried it again now, and it worked no problem 😅

That's just for remote play. I was talking about cloud streaming, but I didn't make that very clear 😅

Ah, that's for remote play. I meant cloud streaming. Should have made that clearer! I do use Chiaki though, it's great!

Has anyone managed to get Playstation Plus streaming working on the deck recently? I've seen posts/articles saying it's possible, but I've not been able to get it to actually work.

After installing the ps plus app, downloading the missing dll, and launching via proton experimental, I just get an error when I reach the sign in page.

Has anyone else encountered this, and managed to get passed it?

Edit: to clarify, I'm talking about cloud streaming. For remote play, I use Chiaki

Edit 2: I tried again and it just worked. I have no idea why. Guess I just needed to ask about it here for it to magically start working 😂

Usually when I reach the end of the feed, it just loads more. But recently, I started getting a bad request error instead. Not every time I reach the end, but once I get it it doesn't go away when I tap on retry.

Is anyone else seeing this happening? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I'm looking to buy a laptop for things like browsing the internet, admin stuff like sorting out important documents, a little bit of software development, and other things that aren't easy to do on a phone.

I don't think I need a particularly powerful laptop for these things, so was hoping to get a cheap refurbished one. Can anyone recommend a reputable place to buy a refurbished laptop for a reasonable price? I'm hoping to spend around £200, but not sure if that's reasonable for what I'm looking for

Recently my laptop died. Thankfully, the issue wasn't the SSD. So I bought an external enclosure, took the SSD out of the laptop, and popped it into the external enclosure. I was hoping at that point, it would "just work".

I was hoping that when I plug it into my steam deck in desktop mode, it would recognise it and I could get some files off of it. Well, just one file really, my Sims 4 save. But it isn't recognised at all.

Is there anything I can do to get the save file off of the SSD? I can borrow someone else's (windows) laptop if necessary, though it didn't recognise it last time I plugged it in there either.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Has anyone had any success emulating Blue Dragon using emuDeck? I'm currently trying to get it to work but not having any luck.

I've tried changing some of the config files to use settings I found online, but they don't seem to work. I also found a thread on Reddit that mentioned downloading an older version of Xenia, but that post was from 2 years ago, so I'm not sure if that is still necessary.

If anyone was able to get Blue Dragon to run properly on the deck I'd be very interested in hearing how you did it!

Whenever I see an article in a post, and try using the sync ultra feature to summarise it, it always just says "No summary found". Does this work for anyone else?

Has anyone managed to get a Lapras ex from the event? I'm currently at 6 Butterfree, 4 Pikachu, 10 Clefairy, and 5 Mankey, but no Lapras. I'm wondering if it's even possible or if I'm just really unlucky. What has your experience been?
