I have some context here, I live in the area and saw this newscast. He (Evan Andrews, the morning shift meteorologist) 100% wanted the dog in the shot, this was during the COVID lockdown, so it was quite fashionable to have your pets on screen, all of the newscasters showed off their pets at one point or another. He also has a turtle, iirc.

A few months ago, I released a punk album! I'd spent about a year making it, in my living room, using all open-source or otherwise free tools, and I think it's pretty good! People here seemed to like it as well, but I thought, "What if maybe everyone didn't see those posts? What if there's some new people, who probably weren't around when I posted the first time? What about people who's musical tastes have changed, and really need some hardcore political ska/punk in their lives right now? Who am I to deprive those theoretical people of the chance for fulfillment?"

So yeah, go check it out! It's free to stream as much as you want (I took off the dumb "three times" restriction), and if you feel like helping out an independent artist, I lowered the price to just $5! I'm not really in it for the money though, it sounds cliché but this actually was a labor of love, I just want people to hear it. Speaking of, if you're the type who likes reviews, here's what some people said:

"Love that 'shit'! 😃" - Spike one of many via anarcho-punk.net

"Raucous, rough hewn and smart collection of ska and hardcore influenced punk rock. Appropriately political for the times we find ourselves in (seriously, if you’re making apolitical punk right now, wtf?) but the message never gets in the way of the songs. It features strong guitar work, and a generally loose, rough-edged overall vibe.

Full of simple, catchy riffs, shouted and/or inelegantly sung vocals, and primitive but energetic drumming, it’s a fun collection of ska, hardcore and even classic rock influenced punk that would have sounded right at home on a cassette in 1990." - @etherdiver@ravenation.club via etherdiver.com

"... go find yourself some band mates because this needs to be played for a rowdy audience." - jcento93 via email

So yeah, check it out, let me know what you think! I'm also starting the process of making another one, so any technical criticism or directional input is also welcome. Enjoy!
