Rebel Galaxy is a swashbuckling space adventure with action-packed combat, exploration, discovery, trade, and "negotiation" with the outlandish denizens at the edge of the known universe.

As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you'll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader, or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

The edge of the universe is a pretty dangerous place, so watch your back.

Captain a massive spaceship engaging in epic scale space battles. Trade, negotiate, mine asteroids, hunt bounties, be a pirate, and explore a randomized open-world galactic map. Make your own path through a dialogue tree-driven storyline making friends and enemies of a variety of alien factions.

I'd guess most players aren't even aware. I play a lot of games (though probably none that have this stuff enabled) and before joining Lemmy I'd never even heard of Denuvo. The average user just buys a game and plays it.

Neo Cab is a visual novel about emotional survival in an automated world.

You play as Lina, the last human cab driver. It's your very first night driving the lonely streets of Los Ojos, and your best friend has just disappeared.

Is she in grave danger... or just the flakiest friend ever? Either way, now you need to find cash, a place to crash, and some answers.

Your only leads are the diverse cast of characters you pick up in your cab, but getting them to open up isn't always easy. The anarchist punks don't trust you, the corporate yuppies don't see you, and the cops won't leave you alone. But if you can balance honesty, empathy, and your own emotional health, you might just learn their secrets.

Can you survive late-stage capitalism long enough to save your friend?

You are a rock.

You cannot move. You cannot speak. But the world still changes you.

🌧 Rain falls. 🐦 Birds land. 👣 Humans pass by.

And you choose how to respond.

Gameplay

  • Experience a choice-based system where every decision shapes your form
  • Watch your rock physically change over time (moss, cracks, awareness)
  • Unlock new events as the years pass
  • Discover multiple endings based on your actions

What kind of game is this?

This is not a fast-paced game.

It’s:

  • Slow
  • Atmospheric
  • Slightly strange
  • Sometimes funny
  • Sometimes… something else

Replayability

Your choices matter.

Different paths lead to different outcomes:

  • Become a monument
  • Remain hidden in nature
  • Break apart into dust
  • Or become something… more

⏱ Playtime

~15–25 minutes per run

Features

  • Dynamic sound system (no downloads required)
  • Evolving visuals using canvas rendering
  • Smooth UI and transitions
  • Local save system

Note

This game starts simple… but it does not stay that way.

You are a rock.

What you become is up to you.

As I said the last time you posted your game here it's fine to self-promote but if you're going to post a game that's always free then follow the rules at https://feddit.uk/post/21556611 i.e. wait until Friday and label it correctly

You didn't ask to lead this expedition, but here you are. Stuck in the ice, Captain missing, miles from civilization. Someone has to take charge. Manage your meager resources, balance safety and morale, make the hard calls, and head in the only direction you can - through The Pale Beyond.

You work the counter as an unknown presence begins to mimic the local population. Your job is simple, keep the store running. But as the night progresses, the people walking through the doors start to feel... off.

"8AM" plunges the player into an enigmatic and tense game of observation and decision under an unfathomable veil of mystery. In this game, you find yourself in a stark room, devoid of any memory or knowledge of your purpose or how you arrived there. The only companions in your solitary vigil are a set of devices and a computer, your window to the outside world, connecting you exclusively to the security camera system of a seemingly ordinary house.

The house is inhabited by a family whose life appears to proceed normally until the clock strikes midnight. From that moment, as the hours slip towards dawn, you become a witness to a series of events that could be classified as ordinary or deeply disturbing. The nature of these occurrences varies widely, from ghostly figures slipping through the corridors in the darkness, manifestations of paranormal activity that defy all logic, to the strange behaviors of the family members, like sleepwalking, which could hide something more sinister.

Your task is simple yet immensely complicated: to determine whether what you are witnessing is a manifestation of the supernatural or mere coincidences and everyday events interpreted through a prism of isolation and tension. There are no clear answers, nor are you provided with tools to investigate or influence events. Your judgment is your only guide in this dark task.

Every correct decision you make brings you one step closer to your final goal: reaching 8:00 a.m. and, with it, your liberation. But what does "correct" truly mean in a world where reality intertwines with the incomprehensible? There are no truths to unravel, only the growing anxiety that each choice could be as right as it is wrong.

"8AM" is a challenge to perception, a game that forces you to question reality and face the uncertainty of the night. With each passing night and every decision you make, you not only draw closer to liberation but also delve deeper into the mystery of the human condition and the nature of reality itself. This game not only challenges you to observe but also to reflect on what it means to be a spectator of the lives of others, isolated yet intimately linked to their fate.

Pongminton X is basically a traditional Pong with added twist! Instead of losing if you miss, a "deadzone" will be added onto your paddle. This deadzone will grow larger if you miss further or due to Sudden Death! You will lose if the ball hits this deadzone but this is no reason to stay relaxed, as a round in Pongminton X can take a sudden turn if you are not careful!

How to play:

  • Don't miss, you'll regret it
  • Make em miss, you'll love it
  • Don't forget to upgrade your stats!
  • The ball is too fast? Upgrade for longer paddle!
  • Opp don't miss? Invest in Damage Reduction and play for Sudden Death!
  • Adjust your stats to theirs. Remember, there is always a way to outplay your opponent!

Features:

  • Upgradable Paddle stats
  • 3 Events you could participate to prove your worth!
  • 45 to 60 minutes of playthrough (Might take longer depending on your performance)

I don't know anyone who has ever deliberately pressed the button, every time I receive one it's a few seconds of silence or rustling followed by an apology text.

A nice feature for people who like it I'm sure, but I'll text if I want asynchronous communication or just phone someone if I need to speak now.

Typers Combat is a fast-paced typing game where every keystroke is a weapon. Battle enemies, climb the ranks, and prove you're the fastest typist alive — all through the power of your keyboard. Your typing speed and accuracy directly control your combat damage. Build combos, dodge attacks, and destroy waves of ASCII enemies in an arena where words are weapons.

How It Works

Sentences appear on screen. Type them correctly and you deal damage. Type faster for bigger combos and more destruction. Make a typo? Your combo breaks and enemies close in. It's simple to learn, impossible to master.

Game Modes

  • Campaign Battle through waves of increasingly dangerous enemies. Each wave brings tougher foes with unique ASCII portraits and higher WPM demands.
  • Survival Enemies never stop coming. How long can you last?
  • VS Live Fight real players in live PvP. Your damage is their pain. ELO-ranked matchmaking puts you against opponents at your level.
  • VS CPU Fight computer opponents tailored to your ELO ranking!
  • Accuracy Mode One single typo and it's game over. How far can you go with perfect accuracy?
  • Time Attack 60, 90, or 120 seconds on the clock. Type as many sentences as possible before time runs out!
  • Daily Challenge A new unique challenge every day. Compare your score with the community.
  • Practice No enemies, no pressure. Just you and the keyboard, improving your WPM.
  • Ghost Battles Share ghost codes with friends and fight their recorded performance anytime.

Rank Up & Compete

Fight your way through six competitive tiers — from Bronze to Master. Every online match adjusts your ELO rating. Win against higher-ranked players for bigger jumps. Leaderboards track the best across all game modes.

Fight Your Friends

Add friends with a simple friend code. Challenge them to live matches or battle their ghost data. See their stats, their rank, and their portrait — then beat them.

Customize Everything

  • Earn gold from every match and spend it on: 25+ Portraits
  • ASCII art characters from the Rookie to the Apex Dragon. Unlock them by clearing waves, completing challenges, and climbing ranks.
  • Frames & Colors Customize your portrait border and art color. Mix and match to create your signature look.
  • Titles Earn titles like "The Untouchable," and "Speed Demon," through gameplay achievements.
  • No loot boxes. No gacha. You earn gold by playing and buy exactly what you want from the store.

Bee Bush Games present a ZX Spectrum game for (less than) pocket money price!

FORG has a problem. FORG wants all the love FORG can get, but they do not want to be touched. I certainly know THAT feeling.

Simply reach the heart on each screen, then bring it back to the door. Easy right? But once FORG starts moving they will not stop until they hit a wall. Also those creatures all want to give FORG a big hug. NO TOUCH PLS!

Guide FORG through 17 screens across 3 areas. But beware, love is hard work...

I usually add every single game posted just in case someone I know might one day want to play it, but even I didn't bother with this one. Still though, someone reading might get some enjoyment out of it (even in a so-bad-it's-good ironic way) so that's why I'm posting it.

[–] smeg@feddit.uk 0 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Every review suggests this is a very low effort machine-generated game, the most charitable do at least suggest it's a bit interesting and worth it for free.

I generally post every game that's not an obvious pay-to-win scam and leave it up to you to decide if it's even worth a click (because hey, we all like different things), but if this sort of thing starts becoming a problem then I guess I'll have to have a rethink.
