Camo is probably cosplay when they're hunting deer, but the orange vest is specifically for other humans who somehow have worse eyesight than deer and will shoot you because the camo worked on them better than it worked on the animal they're hunting.

Here in the US, Passport services are more often handled by Post Offices. Some Libraries and other government offices handle it as well, but that's mostly in metropolitan areas. So if you wanna leave this shithole you'll likely find yourself having to visit one at some point. Doubly true if you're unfortunate enough to be in a rural part of the US

Morpheus explains it to Neo in the movie

You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

I wanted to adopt when I was dating my wife, but that had more to do with upbringing. I was raised in a house full of women, saw multiple births growing up and just didn't like the prospect of putting her through it. But ultimately it was just preference. She had other plans and I didn't mind if she didn't

Happens a lot at the gym because I do the most basic hygienic thing possible in that I clean the equipment when I'm done with it. Insane how many people just don't bother

Interesting.

I personally use a moonlander, and have for years now. I really enjoy them, but also didn't like that there were wires needed to connect both sides and usually a 2nd USB-C cable need to connect the keyboard to a device. I went searching a couple years ago for a wireless solution and found SliceMK also powered by ZMK, bought one promptly and it wasn't too bad. Eventually the battery on both sides would inflate, and it seems like the Sole developer of the product has disappeared so it's effectively a paperweight.

I'd be interested in exploring this option too, but I'd just want some confidence that support for the product wouldn't just evaporate overnight. Also I suppose it makes sense to ask if the battery is easy to access and replace on both sides?
