It seems the only thing you can improve at all is scotch instead of bourbon. :P Jokes aside: is your bed heating or does it just shows to heat in the display?

I guess it's not the only fan inside the computer? For further investigation one needs a photo of the system, with the settings of other fans.
Just a quick guess: it could pull heated air from your cpu eg., or work against the airflow of other fans in your rig.
Nix might be a bit overwhelming when his first installation of linux was only a few months ago, I guess :D
isn't it the other way? Ubuntu/Kubuntu -> Mint -> Arch-based (Manjaro, ...), Arch ... -> "btw"

You could instead deactivate Wifi/Cellular on your phone to remind you not to doomscroll in bed. Cheapest solution I guess.

What he said. Plus: I've been using Ardour for years. Then I tried Reaper, "evaluated" for about 3 months, then decided to pay the ~ 70€. You get a licence for the existing and a future release. It feels much more "natural" to me than Ardour.
