Knitting or woodcarving.

Both are cheap & easy to start and you begin with doing things that are useful.

You may end up in a more artsy trajectory or just keep at creating useful things.

Just a slow hug (or whatever equivalent you prefer)

Yes!

But also, now that I think about it a little more I think that it is also a problem with the interface:

having the button to the inventory in that menu, and not even as the first item, is kind of strange. Of the options in that menu I would guesstimate that I would use it to open the inventory 99,5% percent of the times I entered the menu.

Imho the inventory should be opened by a button in the HUD, probably by an additional square with an icon in the bottom inventory row.

Not sure... It seems that the correct^1^ word is used, but I don't think I have ever played a game with an inventory in my native language (which luanti picked up from the system default language) so I just didn't think of clicking that button.

1: correct, as in used in other games for the translation of "inventory"

Thank you!

Was going crazy...

For some reason the word used by my languages translation just didn't make me think of in-game inventory but rather of app+mods-storage on my device.

Should probably think about that for a bit!

Hello, what a fun initiative!

Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work on mobile (android) because I couldn't figure out how to open my inventory (= no crafting, etc)...

I'll keep looking and if I find a solution I'll post it here.

Well, I'm sure these grey haired people would be more than happy to hike with you and introduce you (more or less subtly) to the people they have in their life of your approximate age and gender-preference.

As they are older (and not just more stressed) they are still used to help people meet "organically".

Nvm, this was the actual definition, my bad. Stimming at wikipedia

I guess I had read it, but didn't remember it, so it felt like an original thought.

Leaving this here, but might as well delete if that is preferred.

The other day I tried to talk about stimming and I just formulated the following idea:

I see stimming as a way to self-overload some sensory system to drown out uncontrollable sensory input.

How do you think this fits your understanding and/or experience of stimming?
