I reread The French Laundry Cookbook frequently. It changed how I think about cooking.

Followed by the Good Eats cookbooks, Vol 1-4. Alton Brown NEEDS a Pulitzer, or the cooking equivalent.

The science of cooking has become more important to me than cookbooks/recipes.

Perhaps the ICE Agent needs to be "collected" by, let's say, a bounty hunter. And placed in a Minnesota jail, where he can be put on trial in 20 or 30 months or so.

One of the awesome albums! God, I miss them. Is there a group today that fills that void? Keep in mind, they cannot be peppy/happy/cheerful. That wasn't '70s punk.

"Fuck Adobe" is my near-daily mantra. I actually utter it out loud at least once a day, if not more. I used to teach PS and worshipped at the temple of PS. These days, FUCK ADOBE!!!! I cannot wait for ANYTHING to replace Photoshop/Adobe. Adobe MUST die!.

Gimp and Inkscape are excellent programs, I LOVE them. But, they are not Adobe replacements.

How does it compare to 1919 root beer?

Crush a few of the Doritos into a fine powder and add the powder to your cheese sauce.

BTW, add shredded cheese after adding the milk, extra dipping goodness.

This is Super-Villian levels of crazy. It doesn't matter if it's been a "thing" or not. It just ain't right.

I think this might be a Lodge skillet. However, two things make me question whether it's a Lodge.

First, that emossed 8 looks different from every other Lodge 8 I've seen. And that might mean nothing, and I'm reading too much into it.

Second, its weight. The unknown skillet weighs 2,043g. My modern six-year-old Lodge weighs 2,387g. Wouldn't an older Lodge weigh more?

Can any cast iron experts help me out?
