I'd say be hopeful, but I don't know.

I am a software developer, and there's absolutely been times where a temp fix becomes permanent, but I've also had times where my boss has told me to clean up tech debt or I've been "look this whole chunk of code is both wrong and unmaintainable" (wrong as in it didn't do the thing correctly but it looked correctish) and I've been allowed to just rewrite the broken code from scratch.

Idk, I feel like also at a certain point the codes bugs might be so obvious and troublesome that companies are forced to actually deal with the problem code and when that happens will be different for every company and every program.

Ehhhhh...

Given how dominant English has been on the world stage for decades, there's been a few times in my life where I'm listening to someone speak English and I didn't realize that they weren't American/AngloCanadian. (Dear Canadians, I am sorry, but like, dude our accents right on each others borders are near indistinguishable)

Nope, Dean Kamen is still alive. The owner of the segway company however did fall off a cliff to his death while on a segway.

I don't think Ethiopian food gets the respect it deserves. There's a place I've been going to for years, pretty much always get lebleb tibs and that injera bread is so good. It's spongy and has a slight sour taste to it that's so good with the rest of the food.

I really wish more Americans understood soft power and how much we used to have. Hell, I was on vacation to Montreal a few years back and I ran into a dude from France there. You know what we did? Quoted American TV to each other, in English. He knew lines from futurama and archer in English.

Hell at work I run into a lot of Germans and French folk and dispite not using imperial they knew how far a mile was in kilometers (1.6 for the curious)

Having read half-ish of his wikipedia article, the only thing I'll correct you on is his age, 25, otherwise that's on point.

high in fats, sugars, and possibly moisture spoil so easily.

I went to the henry ford museum like a year and a half ago, they had Pokémon red and blue on display and I felt that in my soul and bones.

You're making the positive claim, the burden of proof is on you.
