It was one of the best. Just nitpicking but R-type wasn't a Nintendo series. R-type 3 was developed for SNES.

Calvin and Hobbes still daily posting but from that community specifically. they just did the classic 'house got broken into' story.

Home life is great. I love my kids and my partner and they're all amazing.

but I'm currently taken out of this feeling by stress and anxiety about work. To the point that my partner is concerned about my health. it's really not good.

NFS 1, 2, 3, Porsche Unleashed. excellent track design. The early parts of the series were the gold standard in track design for me.

I live about 2 hours east of Pomonal. Our house is on a hillside and one of my biggest worries is erosion, I already see how much is affected the slab of my garden shed and similar. I've done a lot to protect my house stilts and redirect water away.

I wonder how easy it is to protect a house partially built of earth from erosion issues.

Not a pro, but I'm using Endeavour os on a 1st gen Surface Go. it works fine but KDE has some touchscreen quirks I don't like.

I'm sure you'd be able to just type your delivery address when you order. Is there a reason you would need to have it in a document and then copy and paste it?

That sucks. when someone goes quiet you always hope that life has just got a bit too busy.

This was the first community I joined in lemmy, and I always pointed out the way Geek keeps the community engaged.

Rest in peace, mate

Second dos game I ever played was Doom on a 486. My mum was doing a tax return for the local bowls club, and the manager let me play Doom on their computer while she was going through all the paperwork.

A couple years later we got our own Pentium 133mhz and a copy of Doom and Duke 3D.

it will always be a problem with native games.

I think it was about 5 years ago, the Terraria team Linux dev left. Something happened that stopped the Linux build launching, and the native version was not playable until they got a new Linux dev in the team. Proton version worked flawlessly with more stable framerate.

As far as I know the native Undertale build is still unplayable. If it is working now, well it wasn't for about 6 years.

I see people get excited about native game builds, that's great but unless it's a very dedicated team that will update the game constantly it seems to be is no use.
