I think the most important part of the article is:

So this is probably just clickbait about ICE in Canada. They're at the airports making it easier for people to get cleared for US travel. If there isn't an additional deployment, then I don't think they'll be doing anything different than they are right now.
The approval vote for PP was pretty rigged. It was held at a convention in Calgary where you had to pay to get in.
