1lb of expensive bananas is indistinguishable from 1lb of cheap bananas in most of the self checkout machines I have used. Maybe one day they will get advanced cameras
The discount comes from entering the code of the cheapest type of item no matter what item I picked up. Organic lady finger bananas? Looks like bulk Cavendish to me. I'm not being paid enough to know the difference when I'm using self checkout, a banana is a banana.

Was riding around in a little Honda with my friend, who was about 6'3 and 240lbs of solid muscle. Well some road rager didn't like our driving, and got out of his car at a light while we were a few cars back and walked towards us. About halfway, my friend just steps out of the Honda, and the guy freezes in his tracks, hesitates, and walked directly back to his car without a word. The other people stopped at the light were laughing
You know when someone goes into home depot and buys a whole bunch of letters like this, the cashier should really just take a minute to check with the customer like are you using these to write some crazy ass message on your white van? Immediate intervention.
Had a friend working for a Russian family in Russia for a few years since the thing started. They are in dubai now with the same family and the lot of them are really shocked as to the meat grinder the war has become. It really seems that most Russians think this is a manpower intensive occupation with some occasional violence. These are reasonably well off Moscow people who didn't seem to understand that this war is more like world war 1 than like Afghanistan.
This is what happens when you have a brutal war going on without the curtain of media propaganda to hide the reality of what is happening and what will likely happen to you if you go. I don't think the Russian recruits have quite the same clarity into just how the war is going.
The best defence against phishing I have found is to just utterly ignore my email inbox at work.
