The paradigmatic example of this is Orbán's Hungary.

Guaranteed that no sides will agree to anything over the next 2 weeks.

"To this end, while rejecting all plans presented by the enemy, Iran drafted a 10-point plan and presented it to the American side via the country of Pakistan. It emphasized fundamental points such as controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iran’s armed forces (which grants Iran a unique economic and geopolitical position), the necessity of ending the war against all components of the Axis of Resistance (which signifies a historic defeat for the aggression of the child-killing Israeli regime), the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from all bases and deployment points in the region, the establishment of a secure transit protocol in the Strait of Hormuz such that it guarantees Iranian dominance according to the agreed protocol, the full payment of Iran’s damages according to estimates, the removal of all primary and secondary sanctions and resolutions of the Board of Governors and the Security Council, the release of all blocked Iranian properties and assets abroad, and finally, the approval of all these items in a binding Security Council resolution. It is worth noting that the approval of this resolution will turn all these agreements into binding international law and will create an important diplomatic victory for the nation of Iran."

Not always, usually it's an evolutionary arms race though. Recent paper I thought was really cool suggests the initial jump from single to multicellular happened because of a snowball Earth which changed the water temperature and therefore viscosity, making larger size equate to more efficient swimming.

Or reduced. Solar wind implants protons (Hydrogen) in the upper surface and causes darkening.

The problem is that we offloaded "world leadership" to a bunch of ultra-rich sociopaths who only care about their own profit maximization. And they then made actual profit obsolete, since the only product they produce now is hype in the service of inflationary speculative assets. From a planetary perspective it looks like the human species is committing suicide.

Don't fall for the clickbait reporting here. Musk has a history of making comically exaggerated claims. There won't be a million satellites just like there wasn't a 4000 km/h train, self-driving tunnel network, intercontinental rocket transport or Mars colony.

Never suggested he didn't. The average age of Trump voters skews over 50 though.

As much as I like to shit on AI, it has gotten rather poetic lately.

If you add that these bullies were given high-paying blue collar jobs, cheap houses, and wives to abuse freely, it's no longer an analogy. The Trumpist boomers literally had this happen. When this system broke they reacted to it like the selfish, hateful idiots they are.

Somebody I'm sure has already said this, but the Turing test assumed AIs would need to prove their intelligence by appearing human in their speech, but now the problem is the opposite, that humans will have to somehow prove that they are not LLMs when they type anything on the internet.

Why are there several overlapping coats of paint that are peeling off? I thought this was the new and flashy Boeing plane? The airline was Scoot.

I have no idea how the Fediverse works. I use Sync just like I did for Reddit because it's simple. Is there anything I can do to help?
