Since all my services are dockerized I just pull new images sporadically. But I think I should invest some time into finding automatic update reminders, especially when I have to hear about critical security updates from some random person on mastodon.

Could still be AI generated tho since LLMs don’t generate images

I wanted to keep an open mind but two things turn me off immediately:

  1. The selection doesn’t seem that good and I think you’d be better off just buying the games you’re interested in (I have only heard of one game in the entire collection)
  2. The site seems AI generated. It has that default AI color scheme, the categories don’t seem to contain the right games (why is blue maiden „A slow-burning, psychological horror walking sim“ in cozy?), and the action category is listed twice.

The site just doesn’t seem trustworthy .

I do use ProtonDB (esp. for my Steam Deck) and like it a lot, but, we have a saying in German "Probieren geht über studieren" :D

Idk I got a crash and decided to just finish it on Windows (had to reboot anyway). Luckily it's a short game so I wasn't "stuck" with Windows for too long. So I can't really say if it would've kept crashing or if it was a isolated incident, but it never crashed on Windows in the remaining 10 hours.

I was surprised that Crimson Desert works out of the box (and I think even loads faster than on Windows) and also that RE:Village doesn’t work (it runs but crashes)

I just switched my home PC last week. It’s kinda funny how Steam games are a roulette of support, but it’s been really fun thus far.
Was surprised that the government app I have to use is actually open source and on the AUR.
Can’t fully drop Windows sadly but definitely minimize the usage as much as possible.

Oh my god it took me way too long to realize those are air pods. I legit just keep seeing him stroking his limp dick.

I love each and every one of you. I did absolutely not expect the reception to my previous post. However, in order to show you content from your favorite anime, we need to show ads.

Hi, first time posting here AND first time using Krita. I am (very obviously) not a 2D artist but Frieren being over has me in a drawing/artsy mood. Somehow I couldn't change the font for some reason, so you gotta live with that.
Now keep enjoying your content rectangle, or else!

I'm now finally switching away from Windows, bought a new SSD and just set it up, and now I've hit a bit of a snag.
I'm using KeePass for password management, but I have my database up on iCloud. The reason for this is because I also have a iPhone and MacBook from which I need to access my passwords and this has been weirdly the most trouble-free and convenient option thus far.

But in the spirit of liberation (and because I don't want to have to deal with web-based file management) I thought I'd ask around what some good options are. I am renting a VPS so that could be one option, but there I'm also a bit worried about data loss (for example if I stop paying, which is less of an issue since iCloud is free, or they go out of business. yeah I get that Apple bad but they're a lot less likely to go out of business soon (not that Hetzner is on the verge of bankruptcy but thats my thinking)).

The easiest option would be to just keep it all on my main PC and periodically sync from the other clients, the only issue here is that if my PC is shutdown and I'm not home (which rarely happens luckily) and I haven't synced recently, I'm fucked.

Option 3 would be to get the stanky raspi I have laying around running, but omg I think it would be more reliably if I just memorized all passwords myself.

Option 4 would be the same as 3 but with the Steam Machine. Which would mean deferring this issue until (or if) they release.

And I'm open to hearing more options that you would recommend.

Dealing the final blow has never been this fun
