Is this some kind of reference to the “survivability onion”

I believe it, sometimes I forget how good we have it in some ways in the PNW

I know not everybody can do this but where I live many houses have apple trees and a whole lot of them go unpicked, I just knock on the door and ask to pick and mostly get a yes.

My local elementary school has like 6 cherry trees that anyone can pick and blackberries are an invasive weed here and are literally everywhere.

There might be more available to you than you realize.

You’d think that if the system hadn’t adapted to driverless vehicles it would just treat them as if someone abandoned their vehicle in the middle of traffic

I’ve only ever bought the Hollow Knight soundtracks, they were purchased from Steam and came in the form of DRM free MP3 or FLAC files

Should have made I : Isle

I’m tired and read that last point as “feels like a fragrant interlude” at first

Yes, I always vote at every opportunity. The reason is that I live in a US state that has universal mail in voting so it’s incredibly easy for me. I receive a ballot in the mail, fill it out whenever I have time, and drop it back in the mailbox, if I want I can check the status online to make sure it’s accounted for. No reason not to unless you have some kind of moral or political opposition to voting.

I used to have some when I was a kid but they stopped at some point, now nothing unless you count tinnitus.

I’d see little dots of light racing around on busy designs such as a Persian rug. Occasionally I’d get this thing where time would seem to slow down for a moment and every sound would seem like booming explosions.

People gotta be doing this on purpose

I wasn’t even consciously aware I felt this exact way until I read this comment, living in a shitbox where it rains 160 days of the year will do a number on you
