The aircraft had a U.S. registration and was listed to an executive aviation company, according to Dominican officials. Only the pilot and co-pilot were on board, and no passengers were reported.

Local media reported that both crew members were killed. Their names have not been released.

I'm just gonna refer you back to the comment you're answering to.

This is gonna be a hot take, but fuck it...

This is 100% on them !

People nowadays travel internationally expecting to be treated with the same rights they are afforded from their home country. Anyone that travels with prescribed medication should know that you need to have some paperwork available to show local authorities. This will not be taught to you. There is no reason for you school to teach you about international travel restrictions. there is no reason for your doctor or pharmacist to assume that you will be traveling to other countries.

Before going abroad, you should always educate yourself on local customs, policies, and laws. Your failure to do so is on you, and you only. ADHD medication is heavily regulated in most countries. In some countries you are not even allowed to transport them in anything other than the prescribed bottle.

Traveling to an Eastern European country with amphetamines without a copy of your prescription is just plain stupid. And then trying to use a pharmacy receipt... That wouldn't pass here either.

This, to me, is plain entitlement. And then, they contact the news to try and gather sympathy for their stupidity.

Last quote of the article:

"And I really hope that more is done from the government to help."

I wrote a long answer about biology and evolution, and then I lost power. Too lazy to write it again, but long story short:

We don't and can't really know exactly why. Teeth are weird and grow in many shapes and sizes. It is also often not as defined as in that diagram, some horses don't have it and the ones that have it may not have it on all the supposed teeth, and it is not considered a reliable way to age a horse anymore.

According to ourworldindata.org, chicken meat production reached over 128 millions tonnes a year worldwide in 2024.

Chickens a typically slaughtered when they reach 5 to 7 lbs. That would be around 48.5 billions chickens a year... or 1.5 thousands every single second.

It's called a Galvayne's groove

A Galvayne's groove is a dark or brownish groove in the upper corner incisor teeth of horses. It is only visible in horses of a certain age.

Depending on whether or not a Galvayne's Groove can be seen, how long it is, and where it is (at the top of the tooth or at the bottom) it may be helpful in determining a horses' age.

If it’s real, it has an address. That can be looked up in an Apple or Google Maps.

Hahahahahahahaha ! Thanks for that

It’s important to remember that teachers are on average less educated that the average citizen.

That is an incredibly bold statement to make. Can you back this up with sources ? Especially since you said it is important to remember. And where are you talking about ? Is this true everywhere ?

I don't want to be that guy, but...

There is only one controller, and one track. For this kind of set, the controller activates the track, not the car.
