I think "destiny is already dead" would be more accurate. I've introduced players to the game across multiple eras of destiny and it's only gotten harder. Last one they asked what to do next and I just said "fuck if I know, what's the map say?"

For a game that is increasingly inaccessible to new players, the only thing to do is fall off, and the monthly player count reflects that. It could maybe be saved if they un-vaulted everything and stopped monitizing the fuck out of it, but even then it's lost too much blood.

Is that you, every republican lawmaker?

Yes. They RMAd my left index controller a year out of warranty, in addition to always replying within hours. Literally never had a better support experience.

Meta on the other hand is a slew of incompetent fucks that have zero power, until you finally get pushed through to their "specialist team" who takes a fucking full day for EACH REPLY, and even then I had to basically demand a refund for something that was never shipped to me, and (once I bought one later) discovered it literally could not have even fit in the box they sent the other shit in.

Hit right arrow key 12 times. 18 if it's a juicy ad.

28 minute flight time with a loaded fpv is nuts. The battery was still barely above minimum voltage too.

Yes, an evil ceo could do much harm by turning steam into the companies shooting themselves in the face. However, they are currently one of the only ones not doing that, so that's where gamers will go.

There's a difference between a monopoly that exists because all other options are shit and a monopoly that exists because of anticompetitive practices.

Aw, I had to go out of my way to get the peeler machine schematic, and I built a base in okrans pride so I can peel as many holy nation guys as I can.

Looks quite fluffy. If they're buttermilk you earn 9/10. Buttermilk with a splash of vanilla is 10/10.

I mean, Q could do those things if so inclined.

The toy and deranged look in her eyes capture her personality perfectly.

Giving bazzite a test run before deciding to jump ship from windows. Seems great so far but I'm currently hitting a wall. I'm trying to play Liftoff, which requires a drone controller to be plugged in. In order to grant usb privileges (serial port I think), I need to install BETAFPV configurator. That's a deb package so I set up a mint container in distrobox and installed, changed permissions, and exported it. When trying to launch in command line, it says libnss3.so doesn't exist. I downloaded a deb for that library and installed it on the mint container as well, but am still getting the same error.

About to try the windows installer with wine but if anyone can tell me why I'm dumb, that would be fantastic.

Hard to tell but I think there's 4 in there.

I've alluded to my hatred of Fulings before, but here it is on full display. This is the result of many hours of genocide. I only collect heads with my original character on vanilla loot. The drop rate is 10% so I have killed thousands. It never ceases to bring me joy.

I have seriously slacked on reading for... Fuck knows how long. Read mistborn which was decent but the last time I seriously read before that was a few years ago when I started discworld but kinda fell away from it.

I read the inner cover of Carl in a book shop and instantly bought it. It's the perfect amount of unhinged to keep me interested. I tore through them all in about a month, just in time to pick up the 7th freshly printed.

I noticed the books have an interesting numbering system using skulls. The first book has 3, 2 of which are blacked out. The second has 1 of 3 blacked out, the third has none. The second three books have six skulls each, following the theme of black skulls not counting for the number of the book.

The seventh has 7 skulls. Were it to follow the same theme, there would be 9 with 2 black. I don't really have a followup or comment here, just thought it was weird.

That said, this comm is dead and I hope we can liven it up a bit because I've been dying to talk about Carl. I guess I'll share what I love about it in hopes people will follow suit. I live for the ridiculous Ai achievements and descriptions. I thought it was just a gag at first but the lore for it is actually holding up surprisingly well. Also the books can get rough at times, but they're never emotionally devastating like others can be (my girlfriend just picked up a book like she was walking to her own execution because she knew what was coming wasn't cheerful). The stakes are high but our protags usually come out more or less intact, and I love that. Sometimes you just wanna watch someone kick ass, not get emotionally dragged behind a car. Additionally, the message is more appropriate and pointed than I expected up front. Very pro throwing a wrench into the orphan crushing machine.

Hey, he asked.

I really wanna like ~~horizons~~Odyssy. The on foot stuff isn't quite as refined as the space stuff, but it's still pretty friggin cool. However, 90% of the time I have no idea what I'm doing and typically end up running for my life, then saying "fuck this" and going back to farming pirates in my battle bus.

This time around I decided to give it a proper shot. I wandered around and managed to collect pre-upgraded suits and weapons around levels 2 and 3, and unlocked the first two engineers. Now I'm stuck on kit goddamn fowler and his opinion polls. I used inara to find exactly the settlements I needed (tourism sites in anarchy systems), but half of them are powered down and I have no idea how to get the data tablets working, half require murder to get into the Habs, and a small number that fits between two halves actually has unlocked Habs but no data tablets. Also every tablet I have managed to get didn't have opinion polls. In all I've probably spent 6 hours and gained nothing.

What I have forgotten about is logging out and in to reset everything, so I'm going to try to find that settlement with 3 Habs right next to each other and hopefully that works, but other than that if y'all have any suggestions I'd be thrilled to hear em.

Honestly spent way too much time making this one look correct.

The kittens are now a week old, and for this post I'll focus on mom's mini me. She's a tortie calico and evidently has the personality to show for it. She started opening her eyes yesterday and started... Breathing heavily at us. We wondered if she had a respiratory issue, but she's totally fine when we aren't around so... She's hissing at us.

She popped out of mom and was latched and feeding within minutes. When the cat cam alerts us to movement, it's usually her flopping around trying to walk. We haven't weighed them, but she's a bit bigger than her siblings. She's gonna be a handful and hopefully we can find someone who can handle her.

Edit to add: we have confirmed the colors! We have one tortico, one void, one tuxedo, and one who appears gray but might maybe be a muted calico.
